Educate yourself on Calipari dude. He had nothing to do with Rose 's ACT/SAT taking and I assure you he did not tell Marcus Camby to talk to an agent during the NCAA tournament. Calipari gets guys because he gets them in the NBA and he plays a style that is fun and shows individual talents. He's just a great recruiter and people are jealous.

No. I don't think Calipari knew anything about Rose and his SAT/ACT score. The problem is when you make kids go to school that shouldn't be going to college. They are forced to do things to gain eligibility. Use your head. Camby apparently talked to an agent during the Final 4 of the tournament or something like that. You really think Calipari would have been ok with that??? Come on dude. I can see why people think something is going on just because he gets great recruits, but bottom line is he is clean and while yes he is getting great recruits year after year.....a lot of that is because those recruits leave after 1 year so there are openings. The other teams like UNC and Kansas get great recruits as well, but if they stay in school, then why would another great recruit go there to sit behind someone?? That is another reason why recruits like Calipari. He doesn't try to get you to stay if he feels its best for you to go. Do me a favor and watch the Katz interview wiith him this past week. You might actually gain some respect for him.

I agree it doesn't look good and that is why I looked into it more when he became the coach at Kentucky. I also know the compliance officer at Kentucky is as tough as they get and they did a thorough investigation of Calipari before they hired him. I gave you the reason why so many highly touted recruits go there year after year. It's because they also leave after 1 year, so there is immediate playing time and also a chance to win and go to the NBA. If you noticed a good portion of Calipari's recruits wait until they know who is going to the NBA before they announce. See Shabazz, Nerlens Noel and Bennett this year as an example.
