I'm 37 years old, so only going to use guys I've watched, who obviously aren't the greatest of all time but here goes nothing:
C Emeka Okafor
F Tyler Hansbrough
F Kevin Durant
G Allen Iverson
G Paul Pierce

Imo i think the best team i ever seen was the 90-91 unlv rebels. Larry Johnson was a beast of a player. I'm still convinced that lost to Duke was rigged

@STLTarHeels
I'm going to be 69 next month, so I watched the guys I named. I respect your choices. Surprised you didn't use Christian Lattner.

Hansbrough was a great college player, nba not so much...Laettner excellent college player , and
solid pro.
Different eras produce great players and teams..fab five

Lebron Garnett Kobe ....honestly folks, you just cant make this stuff up, the comedy simply writes itself with certain talented people.
Out of this entire site, there were about 3 guys who i thought would post players that didnt play in the NCAA, AW was a top my list

@RonBergundy
Yes like where you’re going with this:
most unexpected great team:
luke Harangody
adam morrison
big country Bryant reeves
kevin pittsnogle
larry bird
or most hated (really hard not to be all Duke, I had to screen out several but a couple had to make it)
Grayson Allen
joakim noah
christian laetner
marshall allen
tyler hansborough

Not a Duke fan, but Christian Laettner has to be on the list. Four Final fours and two titles, holds some records for the tourney that will never be broken, with players leaving college early. Lew Alcindor and Bill Walton easy picks also.

Durant? LOL! He played TWO games in he tourney and his team was out in the second round. No way he comes remotely close to being on this list
George? LOL Part II! He never even played in the NCAA tournament! How can he be on your list? Fresno did not make it while he played for them

@robert4091 take it easy....LOL
@detroitdavid good list. obviously have to use people who have made multiple final fours. I remember when I was a kid, 1973 nc st w david thompson dominated and wasnt allowed to participate. Next yr(1974), they avenged only reg. season loss to ucla and beat them in one of the nat'l semis. someone noted duke victory over unlv(which avenged loss in previous yrs natl championship game). 1968 ucla and lew alcindor avenged only reg season loss to houston in 1 natl semifinal. Two of the greatest games I saw were nearly flawless. Bill Walton in final vs Memphis and Christian Laettner in regional final vs Kentucky in the spectrum. Those UNLV teams of the early 1990's remind me of Gonzaga now.
I would add(not in order)
Bill Walton, Christian Laettner, David Thompson, Patrick Ewing, Wilt chamberlain, Jerry Lucas, Danny Manning, Carmelo Anthony, Oscar Robertson, Hakeem Olijuwon

I realize a lot of people aren't as old as me, but if you go to Youtube and search Maravich and see how he played, it'll amaze you. he was Magic Johnson before Magic Johnson. He also could shoot the rock.
