Really liking your Longhorn selection, UNC.  Couldn't agree more though on Barnes' lack of ability with X's and O's.  Saw him blow close game after close game while he was at Prov and Clemson.  Never really had the type of talent he has now at Tex to mask his inabilities. The big men for Tex and James should be able to score at will inside on Okla St, as I saw their defensive capabilities against Prov. BOL tonight.

unc I am hoping the monday woes are gone!  I believe we've had two winning mondays in a row!!!  Its the fridays that are starting to be the tuesdays of foots!!  i think this  is do or die for Texas here...with these next 2 games before taking on Kansas.  ok st didnt impress me on saturday agains mizzou and you know we dont like backing teams that live and die with the 3 ball!!  i think Barnes have these texas boys playing great defense tonight and win this by 7-10 pts!

where you staying im miami....take wifey there every year for a little fun.....have a great hotel sugestion 4 you.  holla at me later

p.s.   what they hell are you doing throwing 5k on tennis!!!  you could have sent me half and let me burn it 4 you!!!

Most impressive call of the week to me was Mizzou sat. Thats the type of game I never wouldve thought of.  and it was never in doubt from the tip.

I use Scoresandodds.com then click betting trends on top tabs. The percentages are on the right. I use this site as it has no vested interest like ceratin places do.

HOOK 'EM, got texas at -1.5 last night.  Agree with much of the write-up.  My only concern is if Ok.State is hitting from long distance, than this could be a tough one for Texas.

The main concern is that if this is as close as the oddsmakers predict, Texas just can't be trusted at the free throw line.  That's why the money line or nothing for me.

UNC, I have been struggling with this pick and was surprised to see you on Texas.  Barnes is notorious for having a slide mid-season every year (although it is usually prior to the conference schedule).  And every year Barnes rights the ship.  But the Baylor loss was a deflating loss at home and he only has a two day turn-around to right this ship.  Okie State also had an emotional and tough game, but they were never in that game and realized early in the 2nd half that the game was a lost cause.  Reminds me of the Mizzou game at Kansas where Mizzou just accepted the 20 point loss and live to play another day.  Okie State may have had the same approach on Saturday.  Take their lumps and rest guys and focus on winning on Monday.  Texas, on the other hand, had a very difficult OT game against Baylor and got shocked at home.  Just crushing.

I still don't understand why Barnes continues to give significant minutes to Justin Mason.  IMO, this is what is killing this team.  The guy adds very little of value to the the team whatsoever.  He can't shoot.  He hits 50% from the FT line.  Balbay and Bradley are better on-the-ball defenders.  But Barnes continues to go with this guy and it might be this team's undoing.

There were some good quotes in the AAS (Austin American Statesman) that gave me some hope that Barnes will play J'Covan Brown more.  This guy has a ton of talent, but he is also a wild card.  He makes 4 or 5 terrible plays each game and 4 or 5 spectacular plays.  He is very emotional (got kicked off his high school team) and he could really let the crowd effect him.  Remember, this is the same crowd where TJ Ford almost got strangled by a fan when he fell into the crowd.

I am really leaning Texas 1st half because that would be typical for this Texas team (they have played poorly for most first halves, save UConn all year).  But I think, in the end, Okie State wins this game.

UNC I really agree with this pick  which is scary but Ok State is just that an OK squad. This team is not in the same class as K State and Uconn. I really think Baylor is a ton better than Ok St. Texas has one of the best guard defenders in the country in Balbay to take away the 3. Texas gets it going tonight in a big way. Hell Ok St couldnt stop Lomars for Baylor on the boards so pIttman and James will have their way.
