I think it's going to be another winnable game. Think I've made myself pretty clear how bad this Ole Miss offense is. They got the 20-4 lead on Florida the other night, then proceeded to score 40 points in the last 35 minutes of the game. Technically a sandwich game for both teams. I'm staying away.

Texas is on the road, there. No insight on the game. Not sure if a young Texas team gets up for this game, with a nationally televised home tilt with Missouri up on Big Monday.

I'm staying away from Butler games. Hate the style, can't figure it out. I think you might get a bit of a letdown from WGB having noticed the effort they put into revenge with Valpo the other night.

As for this Pitt game, I like Pitt as a team in general with Woodall back in the rotation, and I almost played them today. I came to the conclusion that Georgetown's week of prep-time was something I was not willing to go against.

Neil,

What do you think about Ball St @ Ohio? These teams have had a history of very close claims in both the regular season and postseason. I feel like the 9 points are a bit high based on Ball St losing by double digits at home to Akron the other night.

Can Ball St keep it close?

great insight into the SD State game I am the other way on it I just thing colorado State is sliding rihgt now and road team tends ot cover in this match up! either way BOL to you brother its always a pleasure reading your insights and getting your feel for the games!

Tough match-up. Was burnt the other day on Ball State. They suck against the other half of the MAC (Ohio, Buff, Akron, Kent, etc..). Doesn't look like it's going to change this year.

Kent State -5 @ Toledo.

Toledo has been really down this year, just an awful young team, Kent line looks short against them.  Leaning to Kent State given Toledo's offense is an inept as Ole Miss's.  Any more insight nropp and thanks for your time.

I think Toledo's actually much improved from a year ago. They suck, but they're sticking around ballgames. I think there is value on both Kent and Akron. I had Akron -12 and Kent -10.

I'm clearly off, and tend to stay away from the games I'm off.

As for this game though, not sure what to think about Toledo. They're coming off their first conference road victory since 2008. Not sure if that gives them momentum or puts a letdown into effect.

On paper, I think Kent State's clearly the better team. Just haven't won a conference game on the road yet. Not sure if that adds value to the line, or they're just a different team on the road.

Weird game.

Hey Neil, just wanted to say I apologize for the uncalled for comments early last week. Glad the mods let me back on after a week vacation, and I learned my lesson that liquor, losing, and posting on Covers is not a good combination. GL today

Btw, what do u think of NCS catching 1x at home against UVA, even thought they just play at UNC the other night. NCS is so close to Chapel Hill that I don't think the travel will be a factor..... but UVA has been money on the road this year.

Nothing wrong with a little liquor.

I think it's a rough game for both. NC State coming off a rival facing a tough defense here (much tougher than the GTech one they saw at home), and Virginia hitting the road after playing an ugly BC style. Line's probably right, would probably point Virginia. Not really all that confident NC State can score against a good defense in a slow setting.

Nropp thanks for the great writeup. Gonna roll w u on Colorado state. Any thoughts on parlaying George mason money line today w another team. Is this an over looked game for them or not. They haven't really been beating teams by a lot but the main thing is their winning. I think this is a big game for them cuz they need this to stay atop the division. Any thoughts would b greatly appreciated.

It's a game they should win comfortably. In terms of home teams to pair them with, maybe take a look at UCLA, Baylor, or Syracuse.

Yah I would point Louisville in this one. Going to be an ugly game to watch I think, though. Defenses get after it, and Pitino's going to force Hall to hit some outside shots if he's going to go zone. I think you're safe here.

St John's seems to treat the annual game against Duke like it's their Superbowl, and Duke is in a bit of a sandwich spot comin off a scrappy win at Maryland and a trip to Blacksburg (where they lost last year) on deck.

If St John's hadn't just pulled an upset the other night by beating WVU, I'd be all over em today, but as it stands, I'm a little weary of a letdown here...

Nropp, your thoughts on taking the 18?  Am I better off takin the +10 1st half?  Thanks in advance.

Yah, I don't like this spot at all for St. John's. Upset win the other night, now going to Cameron. Doubt Coach K's forgot about last year's blitzing. Nice revenge spot for Duke going against a young zone that they'll probably torch.

I considered the chalk.

Not worth it. Two ultra-fast teams, and Nova's defense has been horrific.

The pace indeed scares me, but I guess the play would be based mostly around the fact that Marquette can occasionally put up some dead spots on the road and I think they'd need to get to 80 for this one to go over.  They still haven't hit 80 on the road yet this year...
