Early and often today boyz! One at a time and the first one is:
Arizona +1.5 at Illinois
A ranked road team as a dog to the unranked home team usually calls for a play on the home team. Not today though as Illinois is a little banged up. Arizona will be playing it's first game now knowing that Coach Olson will not return to the team this year. I do not know how this affects the team, but I do not think it will have an adverse effect. Interm coach Kevin O'neill is more than capable of keeping things together and the team's last outing showed that as they pummelled 9th ranked Texas A&M 78-67. Illinois is by no means an offensive juggernaught as they are managing only 69.9 PPG, their defense however has been stingy and they are holding the opposition to a 40% FG and allowing 63 PPG. I feel that Arizona just has too much offensive ability in this one and will pull out the SU win in the United Center. Should be a good one so get your chips and beer and enjoy the game.
