The "throwaway play" concept can be a bit difficult...I will explain it here again..

SB wins so much, he must, at times, give a game back to his books by losing the game..

This is referred to as a "throwaway play"...he is literally trying to lose it on purpose..

He lets US know this so we can wager on the OPPOSITE side of the game...

In this case, the wager would be on Eastern Michigan...+6...

But...if you are winning too much and need to throw your book off...

Play Ball State -6...
