i just have a feeling that they are gonna win outright. Getting +185 in a game that Cuse can easily dominate is too good to pass up. Gonzaga i thing will struggle with the 2-3 zone. If they are not knocking down 3's its a wrap. Sabonis and Wiltjer are good against mountain west teams but they wont compete with the Athleticism of a big ACC team a conference that has showed they are the best in this tourney.

I am opposite with you on both. I am just respectfully trying to convince you.
Since beginning the season with a 2-7 record in games decided by six points or fewer during their 9-9 start the Badgers are 5-0 in such contest (including 2-0 in the Big Dance since.
Notre Dame has committed 16 more turnovers than it has forced during the NCAA Tournament (29-13).
Like I said BOL.

Sabonis WILL compete against everyone. He is a future NBA guy. Don't underestimate Gonzaga and don't overestimate the Cuse. Sabonis will cause the Syracuse bigs a lot of grief and will probably cause them to foul a lot.

See 2010 trny game https://www.covers.com/pageLoader/pageLoader.aspx?page=/data/ncb/results/2009-2010/boxscore794249.html granted Syr was a #1 seed but that Gonzaga team shot over 35% from 3 on the year but only 14% from 3 vs Syr 2-3 zone

I am a big cuse fan but not a homer. This game can swing either way. Do not buy into the syracuse hype. They dominated 2 average teams in the tournament. If wilter can get in the middle of that zone he will have a field day with sabonis. This game is a total toss up. I can see either team winning by 10-15. Stay away. If you feel this good about cuse then take them. I hope you are correct. All I know if cuse does not shoot 40% or better from the three point line they will get crushed.

If either team can win by 10-15 then you take the dog at +180 every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
I however see a tight finish with Zags falling late so I'm taking the points

That 2-3 defense isnt going stop the Zags. Cuse will need to shoot lights out like the prior 2 games but in all seriousness those opponents were pathetic

Unfortunately I like the ZAGS this time against Syracuse.
Syracuse started the NCAA tourney ranked about 42. Gonzaga on the other hand tip 25....not much difference.
Now I had the Orangemen against Mid Tenn and Dayton...both those match-ups were made in heaven for Syracuse....Small 3 points shooters, not much inside games and quite frankly beating teams teams ranked above 50 and 100 was not money 100% for 10th placed ACC team...all year. SY vs top 50 = 5-6 ; 51-100 = 3-4 (should be better for a Bubble tourney team ; 101-150 = Only 1-2...(C'mon Man really!!? Days to Prepare: Yes the Zone is tough, but given 5 days to prepare.....the Zages won't be Mid tenn....
Size Differential: Gonzage is still one of the largest teams left in theTourney, even after losing 2 center 7-0 /7-2 during the year...Syracuse is USED to playing teams where Length is onm their side..NOT TONITE.
Caliber . Talent: Syacuse outside the ACC has a talent advantage in addition to uniqueness on "D". Tonite the Bigs Sabonis and Wiltjer are considered NBA prospects Sabonis is renked #7 statistically, while Wiljer is not far behind. Both toss in 3's above 34%. this variable I think will provide open looks from the circle most of the game. Not many opponents Syracuse faced had 5 "3" shooters with over 100 shots this year, and not many 6-10 guys @ 0.437% (Wiltjer)
EXPERIENCE in TOURNEY: Zags were beat by Duke in the Elite 8, and have been regulars for the last 10 years...Dayton and Mid Tenn not so much...
Change in STYLE: there is not much tape on the Zags since they changed styles mid season...It took awhile after losing the 2Bigs, but I think ( and stated earlier on covers) I think they play better, playing small....which is still larger than 95% of the teams in D1.
I don;t think the ZAGS run away with this game, but check out how each team plays in the close to the wire games... ( I don't know what games the SY coach was EX-SPELLED!.but the teams are still on the floor.. My review has them 2-7...several OT...against the likes of Va Tech, Clemson, and Wisky (early before they put it together)
BUT then it is just 1 game.....after all Nova shot 30% above their 3 point average..maybe SYracuse can too? But based on their 2015-6 record.....they lose it close to nite...

Advocate NICE play on the DUCKs

1 of those pathetic teams beat wire to wire a tom izzo team IN THE TOURNEY! Not an easy thing to do.
And what does non conference schedule ranking have anything to do about this game? Wouldnt the entire season schedule ranking have or show more clout? Sounds like someone just trying to justify taking zags to me. Bottom line can zags beat the zone defense? Answer that and youll have your winner imo. goodluck

I always look at lines very closely. When I first saw this line I was amazed. An ACC team (better conference) as 4 point underdogs against a good team but from a worse conference. Also a little higher seed as underdogs and Syracuse beat two teams by 15 points. I think everyone and their grandmas are going to be taking the Cuse. My opinion is the linesmakers know what they are doing. For me it's Gonzaga or nothing. BOL everyone.

Georgia Tech got smacked by SDSU. Duke got beat up by Oregon. ACC is not end all be all of basketball conferences. Everyone talking ACC bigger stronger faster. Syracuse will also be sent home with the rest of the ACC tonight. UNC is ACC only hope of ELITE 8. GO ZAGS
