In the Penn st and Wisconsin match up baskets are gonna be tough to come by so i am really liking the plus 14. They have already played one close game also... what you think?
These two are notorious for having low scoring games. Just a matter of which team is going to be efficient in the half court. If that's the case, I can't put my money on PSU. I know it's 14 points, but eeeeek...this is Wisconsin's brand of ball. I'm not touching it either way. Risky proposition on both sides.

would you still take it at -7.5?? cause i don't think 6.5 is available unless you jumped on it right away
It really depends on what you feel is the "key" number. I have a buddy who has done nothing but NBA for years and been successful at it, and he's come up with the conclusion that the only "real key number" in the NBA is 7. If a team is down 7, they aren't going to foul.
Now for college, I have no statistical analysis to back up that statement, but I will be hitting this in the off-season. I would assume it's going to be different for different types of teams. When they foul, how early they foul, when do they stop fouling. I assume bigger conference foul less frequently, and the smaller ones foul earlier and more often towards end of games. Again, I have no analysis to back this up in terms of stats, just an observation. And definitely something I will be stashing in each coach's file and hope to use it in the future.
Of course, that only comes in to question if the game is close. Value is value.
I guess to answer your question, I still see value at 7.5. I probably would have played up to 10. Now, that's just me.
Make your judgement, play on value.

No interest in Boston College games. Would point Indiana. Tough road game, but it's their style of play and nothing out of the ordinary there for them. They put up 100+ the first meeting, would expect this to be a bit different, but not much in terms of pace. Stanford's just a weird game. Probably point under there as Stanford's coming off a high possession game, and Oregon's on the road for second of third roady. Hunch tells me Oregon's flat, they want the 3rd game more than this one, which makes this sort of a sandwich having Cal last game. If you saw the first Oregon State/Oregon game, it was a battle, and one that Oregon State celebrated a bit too much on the Ducks home floor. No trust in Stanford though, hence the pointing under. Teams played to a pretty high total earlier in the year in just 62 possessions. Add in the outside stuff here, and if you get those same possessions, this one's ugly.

Slept through the first few.

I live in Pgh - follow Pitt closely.
I dont think they have quit as a team. They are just not very good. They have not gotten the type of senior leadership from Gibbs that they needed and he may have checked out. He desperately wanted to declare for NBA last spring but he got a poor evaluation from scouts so he stayed and that sour attitude stayed with him.
Last night's game was a bad matchup for them - if I saw this yesterday, I would have pointed this out. USF is long and tall and they use it to bother Gibbs. In first meeting, they used 6'6" forward Hugh Robertson to guard him and Gibbs wa 2-9 from field and was yanked from game with 3 min left after he yelled an obscenity at the bench during a Pitt possession. They have no one to matchup with Gilchrist. The offense Pitt displayed in their 4 game win streak a few weeks back occurred vs Nova, Hoyas, WVU and Prov...Other than Hoyas, none of them are def juggernauts. It was a stretch that made people think that Pitt turned the corner. They are a bet-against team for me and I love that school. I just love winning bets better. I cant imagine their effort and attitude improve as they possibly play a meaningless NIT or CBI post-season. They are 15-13 with games left with @ UCONN, St Johns and @ Louisville. If they lose all three they most likely will be under .500 and at that point no post-season bid.
