I never get beat by the hook, i always buy the 1/2, have done that since i started wagering many moons ago,gl.

dude that missed that free throw is a guard and shoots 44% from the line on the year

Just wondering how much money you lost on the extra juice when the hook is not factored in.  That is considering you're raising your break even point 2%

I definitely can't complain....I avoided samford because i could only get 7.5......I bought the .5 on this game and almost pooped when I just saw it ended at 13 because I pushed.....sucks big time though if we had a chance to win!

Only been wagering for about 10 yrs as i was always on the other side of the fence for many years & never had a losing year.As far as buying the hook "you gotta know when to hold & when to fold" but that comes with experience,if you stay at it that will come,gl.

Good thing a bought a pt on SE Missouri St.You guys that lose by a hook I feel for ya..Happened to me to many times to know if you have a gut feeling go with it and spend the ten or twenty for the extra 1/2 or 1pt.I'm buying the point and rolling w/Idaho St.Who is w/me???Also Zags and Ucla.Let's roll with this and kill the man.GL to all.

SYSTEM PLAY: Mid Tenn ST +6.5 or better  (Pending but Midd Tenn up 50-40 with 5 min left of game)

I can see buying the hook in the NFL..with numbers 2.5, 3, and 3.5.  I beg to differ in that .5 means a lot in NCAAB in the long run. That is, rather than a way to make the bet look more attractive by the books. It is hard enough, again in the long run to maintain a break even point of 52.38%, let alone substain a break even of 54.55% (give or take depending on the book), with the added vig to buy the hook.

I always do the "almost pre-system" plays, don't know why I skipped them tonight, ugh.
