I respect nropp's knowledge as much as anyone but I find it hilarious that people are waiting all day for his "POY #2" to drop, especially when he lost the first one. I cannot imagine the backlash that will take place if the #2 ticket does not cash

It's not the pick people are waiting for. It's his great write ups He is not having a great year with his picks but he is one of the smartest college bb handicappers I know.

Since he knows what this play is, I'm surprised he didn't post it after he bet it. That way anyone who tails him has a chance to get a good number if the line moves in his favor which it usually does. He doesn't owe anybody anything, but it would be a considerate gesture on his part.

Not to hi-jack the thread, but does anyone else smell somethin fishy with the UMass-Rhode Island line? I'm sure everyone and their mother would expect UMass to win by at least 15, so why are they only givin 4 to one of the most disappointing teams in the country?

Why exactly does anyone think that nropp would give a rat's ass about someone else getting a great number on his play? A play that most likely all the crackheads will come out and destroy him for if it doesn't win? This guy is a friggin saint for dealing with the abuse he gets here. There are so many other places he could post where not even one of b.s. comments he gets nightly would be allowed.

Tough gig...he posts a winner and gets rewarded with 2 pages of dancing emoticons. Posts a loser and gets flamed for 6 pages.

What does losing his first one have to do with this one?
Ok, calling a play "Play of the Year" if there are more than 1 of them isn't the most logical thing.
And about the backlash, I guess people are smart enough to understand that (1.) they make the choice to follow him, so don't complain when it loses because you got the pick for free, and (2.) most people probably are smart enough to understand that they shouldn't suddenly place more than their own maximum wager on a bet, because somebody else does.
A disciplined punter doesn't bet more than the maximum bet he agreed with himself, losing a bet like that is a shame, but it won't kill your week or something like that.

Before this season I never saw one College basketball game in my life (now I don't see much neither, because it's always in the middle of the night unfortunately), but nowadays I'm reading most of the write-ups, and even for someone who doesn't know shit about this sport, they are fascinating to read
