USC is the ONE team in Gonzaga’s region...

That poses a threat. The committee practically gifted Gonzaga a Final Four appearance considering the Zags already dismantled each of the top 4 seeds in their region earlier in the season. You can argue Iowa, Kansas, and Virginia were all the weakest of their respective seeds as well. Yes, GIFTED. Don’t misunderstand me, Gonzaga is the best team in the country (although I picked Baylor to win it all), but USC absolutely poses a threat here because of their front court. Timme has tremendous skill but plays below the rim. He’ll have his hands full tonight, and Gonzaga isn’t a deep team, especially in the front court like they’ve been in years prior. While I expect Gonzaga to win the game, I don’t blame anyone for betting USC tonight ATS. The line seems high to me. This thread is meant for discussion, feel free to chime in.

 I agree, but..... it's gambling, and it's been a freaky season thus far.

Eaddy has been a monster for usc over past month, he and Suggs will b a great matchup.

 Timme draws a lot of doubles which gives them great looks from the outside and good ball movement. USC with their bigs can handle him 1-1 would huge to slowing down the rest of the zags half court offense. 

Gonzaga hasnt been gifted anything...they are the best team by far and dont need any help

If USC can control the paint the way they have been, I can 100% see them winning this game.  If Gonzaga walks over USC like the rest of their schedule, I will probably be on them Final 4 and Champ.  Too many points for me to pass up so I locked +9, but can't wait for this game.

If this turns in to a track meet I think Gonzaga covers the number easily. If USC picks its spots in transition and slows it down when needed I think it could be a close game. It pains me to say it becuase I'm not the biggest Gonzaga fan but I have them winning 85-72 BOL

Gonzaga was "gifted" the weakest bracket cause that's what the best team get rewarded for.  UM had toughest going in cause they were the worst #1 seed this year.  Make no sense if UM was "gifted" with weaker bracket than Gonzaga.

If USC can play like they did vs Kansas & Oregon, they can win this game SU.  Creighton played awful against Gonzaga and Oklahoma was without their 2nd leading scorer.  I'm hoping tonight is the night Gonzaga finally gets tested.  In the other game, kind of leaning Michigan as their front court should be too much for UCLA.

USC is playing like a #1 or 2 seed....and has the talent to match Gonzaga...if not more talent...Think Gonzaga has the better coach...but 9 points is too hard not to take with USC...Let's go trojans

"They" never want a non-major conference team to win it all...if "they" had their way, Illinois or Michigan wouldve been their top choice to win it all.

 Another poster was making good points regarding tempo as USC has been dominating teams who play at a slow pace. This one is tough, because I understand why the spread is this high, but also see value in the underdog. Might need your help on this one 

I agree - to me the key is Mobley being aggressive and maybe get Timme in some foul trouble.  USC bigs need to be aggressive inside then you will see a close game??

So if I want to take a risk and bet USC money line I have to believe that USC and win this game 25% to be profitable?  If I believe USC wins this one in four times then I should take USC?  Could be a huge value play if they win straight up.  Hard to hit +340 dogs but when u do it is huge.
