Greetings friends. Last week was not what we expected. Tennessee came out for blood, while Alabama played like garbage. James Madison suffered the all too familiar case of the "we're ranked so we don't need to play hard". Thank you Clemson for saving us from disastrous weekend.
We grind on and look forward to a great week.
With that, here's our card....
UCLA +6 at Oregon Looking ahead at this game 2 weeks ago, I wouldn't have given the Bruins a shot but their performance last week vs Utah was impressive enough (502 Total Yds) to really like their chances this weekend in Eugene. Take the six points and run.
CLEMSON -13 1/2 vs Syracuse Dabo, sitting at #5 is smelling the playoffs and knows that if he runs the table, the loser of the Michigan/Ohio State game will probably exit the top 4. The Tigers pass rush and a hostile crowd will more than likely pressure Garrett Shrader into making more than a fair share of bad decisions. Clemson will be standing on the gas pedal.
ALABAMA vs Mississippi St OVER 61 1/2 Would imagine that Coach Saban spent a good part of the week trying to remedy the deplorable penalties that were so costly against the Vols. State has proven their ability to light up the scoreboard (40 vs Ark, 42 vs A&M) and this will be an emotional outing for the Bulldogs following the untimely death of freshman lineman Sam Westmoreland. Look for both teams to provide plenty of offense and make this our PLAY OF THE DAY.
Good luck friends whichever way you go.
