Matador: On Wake today as well.
 
I just scratch my head when looking at the talent on UCONN on how they made a bowl and actually had a chance to win the Big East. I guess you could say the same thing about Wake but they have now won 19 games in two years. I think Wake really wants a bowl win to but the icing on the best two year run in school history.

He did throw an amazing pass for a TD to give me the cover, so I can't rip him too hard.

I had this down as a play when I initially did the handicapping, but wasn't going to play it just because I've been so discouraged about the mistakes I've made. Nice to get a couple of winners in -- maybe the bowl season will not be a total disaster. Boise St. I have no explanation for. I should know enough by now not to make as poor a choice as that.

UCF I like just because of their big play capability compared to MSU. Some people feel MSU should just be able to out-physical them and won't need much of a passing threat. I don't see it that way. MSU power run game is not dominating and their defense is not as good as many perceive either. To win, I think they will have to score with UCF, and that means success in the pass game. They can do it potentially, but I think even if they start well they may be too conservative and let UCF hang around.

Mat-  I got a question for ya man.  I got USF -240 in a parlay with OKST -180. 
 
Would you consider playing Oregon +6 or 6.5 taking a shot to cover both bets or just roll with my ML USF?

Not really sure I understand the question. Sounds like you are talking about taking both sides in the same game. Better off rolling with what you have.

I like USF's team. Teams with that level of talent generally win their bowl games. I wanted to play them, but didn't like the draw against Oregon.

I really believe USF covers but Im slowly learning that these public plays are a recipe for disastor.  87% of sportsbook.com is on USF - the points if the line moves to 7 or above I might make a play...

My friend plays on Indi and I can tell you this.  THEY WILL SCORE POINTS.  They hate playing D but their offense is very strong.  Hardy will be the best wide reciever in the draft and remember this comment:  JAMES HARDY WILL BE THE BEST NFL WR WITHIN 3 TO 4 YEARS AFTER BEING IN THE NFL.  Lewis the Qb will have a chance to be the Big 10 player of the year next year.  With all this said I have the over (70) picked for this game

Can you speak about the Kentucky/Florida st. line?  Has the line overreacted to all of the suspensions?  Or is it where it should be after all the dust has settled...

Sorry I couldn't get back to you. I had no opinion on Kentucky anyway. I planned to play Kentucky all the way but the suspension business took that plan away. Wish I'd taken the -1, of course.

Chaotic situations like that are hard to figure. I'm not much of a guesser, so better for me to lay off. Same thing with Oregon. Anything could have happened in that game and it did. I was better off not trying to guess, and glad I didn't.

Nice couple of days for me. Maybe I'm getting smarter in my old age. I just went with a single play today, when like most of us, I'm tempted to go in for a lot of action on a day like this. But 1-0 isn't such a bad thing. If I'd been tempted into going fishing, I'd probably be upset about it right now.

Good luck to everybody tonight -- I'll sit out and enjoy from a fan's perspective. Tonight's games are just too hard to for me. Looking forward to UH/UGA especially. If it's 48-14 UGA, I'll be back to congratulate the board, but I've seen too much crazy shit in the bowls to guess at such an unconventional match up.
