@astra- Thanks. No opinion on the under. Purdue will DEFINITELY run the ball today (running game is solid/new qB), so it's not something I would touch in comparison to the side.

@az - yes, let's get this straight. Purdue WILL score and it will likely be a lot so no one should get alarmed if Purdue jumps out to an early lead or is up more than one score. BG will have enough to counter and cover.

Completely false. During Week 1 in the NFL the favorites went 9-5 and the books had their worst week since 2006. The world was on the favorites in many of those games. Week 2 the reverse happened. This Week it probably will be spread evenly. Again, if it were as easy as fading consensus in betting, we'd all be millionaires. It's applicable...in certain situations. I don't believe this to be one of them.

I love how this is the most square play in the world but the convoluted thinking and circle talking leads us too "late square money on Purdue".

Lets bet Purdue because everyone is on BG..

Sure Purdue could win, But the statistical and available personnel edge is heavily tilted in BG Favor.  Only a fool would risk betting on Purdue today especially based a foolish notion as, everyone is on BG

Yes, yes. BOWLING GREEN @ PURDUE is:

THE MOST SQUARE PLAY IN THE WORLD!! (said in the voice of the Great Oz).

As though there aren't as least a dozen other games today which will have 5/10/20 more times the handle of this game, likely on the square favorite.

And I also love how 'square' it is when it opened at Purdue -1!

Don't even look at the personnel or stats. The COACHING STAFF ALONE AND their 2 wins out of 24 games shows the dysfunction runs far deeper than what it on the field.

FACT: BG going from +4.5 to -4 represents the largest line move of any game today.

This can be interpreted many ways. I am not going to interpret it.

BG was never at +4.5. They opened at +1 and went to -5.5 and now have settled at -3.5. That is not the largest line move of the week. And moves from -1 to +1 and even +2.5 have almost no bearing on a cover so you need to inspect where numbers move since the public has no problem driving a number from +1 to -1 or even -2.5.

Those 2 turnovers will cost BG the game they can't stop Purdue and Purdue is scoring quicker than they can score BG defense is not good

Wow this Bowling Green offense is just killing them

Purdue had momentum for a while and then Bowling Green got that stop and the game completely changed
