I like Clemson outright. Their speed and talent on both sides can play with and beat Bama. A lot of ppl are high on Bama cuz of the Michigan St game, but Sparty offense played right into the hands of the Tides front 7. Don't get me wrong, they are very good, but not as good as that Bama team that took down Notre Dame. They've looked very human in several games this year. I just see a close a game. Very close. Clemson has to take advantage in the red zone. Had a few missed opportunities there vs OU.
No, just no... We have 4 first rounders on our defensive front alone... Our LB's are among the best in the nation as well... Here is a prediction of mine and when it happens you can come back to this post. In the Florida game, I predicted the Jonathan Allen would have a huge game and he did. In this game, I predict that you will hear Reggie Ragland's name, and he will have a huge game and make Watson his girl...

There were games I simply did not bet... I lost the Arkansas game in a close one, and I stayed away from a few of the high lines against garbage teams. I held off on the Tennessee and Auburn games because those are rival games.

Tappy; not arguing with you, but Allen and Prescott are different QB's from Watson. Allen had no running ability at all. Dak could run effectively when it was a designed run. He had no escapability or scrambling ability at all. How many times did you see him drop back against Bama and get tackled behind the line. He simply couldn't scramble. I watched it for 3 years. State's OL was also horrible this year. Not one starter for State could start for Clemson on OL.
Again, not arguing, just pointing out that you can't compare Watson to Allen or Dak. Completely different type QB's and OL's than Alabama will face. Bama may well win by 38, but I was stunned to hear an SEC asst. coach make that statement. Just passing it along.
Feel like only QB Bama has faced similar to Watson is Josh Dobbs. Now he's not nearly as good as Watson, but similar style IMO. He had 16 carries for 19 yards...yikes! They held Tenn to 14 points.
Additionally, I just don't see the same type of explosive weapons on Clemson offensively as they've had in recent years (Watkins, Bryant, Hopkins, etc). At 6.5 now...gotta roll with Bama.
Roll damn tide!

I was actually saying this the other day, when I really thought about it... And Bama was really really tired in the Tennessee game, so it would have been a lot worse if we hadn't come off a three game stretch...
