Oregon is apart of an angle that has gone 28-5 in the past 10 years. I am betting Oregon +4 and if the line gets better I will bet it again. During week 2 and 3 of the season (two weeks where we don't know much and lines/bettors over react to what they "see") Dogs between 0-17, who won their week 1 game by Double Digits and their opponent won by 13-21 are 28-5 past 10 years.

Iowa St also fits this angle this week. BOL.

This is the type of information which makes Covers such a valuable resource. DannerB7, thanks for posting this.I was already inclined to bet Oregon &#x2B;3.5, but it&#x27;s comforting to read the technical information ("angle") you&#x27;ve discussed supporting the play. I&#x27;m hopeful the price will go to &#x2B;4 at my book soon. When it does, I&#x27;ll be betting it as a straight play and also as 1 leg of a monster 3 team 10 point teaser. I&#x27;ll make Oregon &#x2B;14 (&#x2B;4) if the odds hit &#x2B;4. I&#x27;m also tempted to bet the Ducks on the ML once those odds are available. I&#x27;ll also look into Iowa State &#x2B;4 based on what you&#x27;ve written.Again, thanks!

I didn&#x27;t like Oregon before they played their game. And I certainly don&#x27;t like them now. Nothing in week 1 could make me like Oregon any better. Personally, I like the over more than a side in that game tho.

Misleading IMO. Lot of that yardage and points scored was in garbage time. Lots of scrubs playing for the Ducks D after they were comfortably up. They never were really threatened in the game. Plus, I&#x27;m willing to bet Oregon was "looking ahead" to this coming weekend&#x27;s match-up with Michigan State. Oregon will be focused for this marquee game. I predict it will be a high scoring game coming down to the wire in the final minutes. Getting a FG or &#x2B;4 is nice. We&#x27;ll see. It should be a great game.

I do not agree, yes,there was some garbage time yardage , but most of it occurred when the game was relatively close.  Oregon did nothing on Defence all game, and E.W.. kept it within 2 scores most of the game.

Who saw the game last year in Eugene? Sparty was in total control in the 1st half, and Oregon came back with some spectacular play by MAriota for a hard fought win, with some luck.

Now Sparty is home, with the top ranked defense in the country and they all want some payback. Upsets do happen, but I think MSU has the talent, the chip on their shoulder, and the home field to make this get ugly quickly.

Be very careful backing the Ducks. Vernon Adams their QB was knocked out. He is a very good QB made for the Oregon offense but he wont  be running very much because they can&#x27;t risk him getting another shot to the head. That is taking away a very important part of his game and the Oregon game. I don&#x27;t like the Oregon defense one bit. I smell over rated when i sniff Oregon.

This QB for the Ducks just got his bell rung, and that has to have an after effect. Plus the o line for the Ducks did not control the game and didn&#x27;t retaliate--maybe forgive the latter cuz it is college ball. Mich St should win the trenches, but they don&#x27;t score TDs, they settle for FGs, and I think Oregon coaches might have held back some new looks they will unveil to disrupt their defense and get guys open . Close game, but have to take the home team, as Pac 10 dismal on the road early, and might continue here. If Ducks lose this QB they&#x27;re done

It was a track meet, not a blowout. &#xD;&#xA;EWU WR Kupp went for Autzen records....15 catches for 246. The Ducks had no answer for Eastern&#x27;s passing game...they just didn&#x27;t need one, as they put up 713 yds themselves...

Am I missing something or is no1 talking about Michigan states game last weekend? They gave up 24 points to western Michigan? Western Michigan qb threw for 365 yards and was 33-50. They gave up 22 first downs and western Michigan actually held the ball longer. I&#x27;m not saying take Oregon but for me this is a stay away game. Also look at special teams, Michigan st gave up a punt rt for td. We all know Oregon has speed on special teams...what do u guys think?

NC State brings up some good points. So Mich St struggled at a MAC upstart, and now they will play a much more talented Oregon team, and destroy them. Granted, the spread is only Mich St -3 and if I had to pull the trigger today, I would back Mich St, but to get a non rose colored perspective of this game, we need to consider all takes. Honestly, it smells bloodbath, much like Baylor last week for many. Help me rationally walk through this...
