BC got bowl elibible by beating their last 5 opponets.

Clemson, Wake, Duke, Virginia, Syracuse....not exactly offensive fire power....best offense they played was NC State and gave up 44.

Shaun... you joined this site in January, 2011... the majority of those games were played before Jan 1st, and therefore you cannot verify them... therefore, you cannot claim that you were on virtually every winning play prior to Jan 1st, even if it is true...

why would you even say those things?  all you do is discredit yourself by saying that...

all of your other points are valid... BC is a joke of a bowl team, without a single quality win, and Nevada will be sky high for this game, playing in front of basically a home crowd in San Francisco... use that argument... but don't use the argument that you have picked every college game for the entire bowl season correctly... that's ridiculous!

if you wanted to get credit for all of those wins, you should have joined the site before the bowl season and posted those plays... otherwise, your record prior to Jan 1st is 0-0-0...

Regardless from what everyone says, I like Nev here. Mostly from the misfortune of watching BC games. I've gone 3-4 in my last 7 so perhaps this pick is not so hot.

Exactly I joined after...so I can't prove it.  but why would i have thrown in Nebraska and Mizzou. If I was lying. Didn't put them in order they were played either so didnt just go down the schedule.

Don't care what anyone else plays, but really would like these guys not to lose their money on BC.

I didn't find covers until late December when I was in Vegas and a guy told me about the site...sorry that I just joined but I can tell you who is on the best run this bowl season so I have payed attention.  RUSH and RASTAD make solid plays.

We kinda got into this discussion in a thread a while back and ill post my thoughts on Nevada.  Yes i graduated from here in 2005, yes im a homer, but i have no problem going against the wolfpack.

Heres what i got so far:

Im not saying BC is a bad team, im simply stating that Nevada gets up for these big games.  Theres plenty of time to prepare for Nevada's offense, but i dont think BC has seen anything like what Nevada will bring especially with such a mobile QB.   Now im not 100% positive, but i dont think BC has played anyone whose avging over 300 yards on the ground and 230 yards in the air per game.

Furthermore, Its not like BC has an incredible pass attack that could exploit Nevadas suspect secondary.  BCs putrid offense is putting up a VERY mediocre 179 yds/game passing and an even less attractive 137 yds/game rushing.  The difference will be if BC stops the run, Kap is more than capable of taking it to the air against a team giving up 229 yds/game in the air.  The same cant be said for BC.   

Nevada, however has faced one of the tougher defenses in the country in Boise State and we know how that turned out.  This team is battle tested and will be ready for this game.  Can Nevada come out and lay an egg?  Sure.......but i dont see it happening with over 20k fans attending the game

Sooooo lets play the devils advocate.  I posted 2 paragraphs of stats on why Nevada has a shot in this, yet all i hear fom BC backers is who has Nevada played?  Yes the WAC is a shitty conference, but Nevada won they games they were supposed to (short of Hawaii, but that was their worst game of the season TO wise) and they have even won the games THEY WERENT SUPPOSED TO......ie Cal and Boise State

So I ask you BC backers, who has BC played and beat?  Sure as shit wasnt a motivated #3 team in the nation playing for a chance in the National Championship.
