Haven't really posted on many games this bowl season, but these last two are two of favorites of the bowl season, and I like them both for exactly the same reason.
Both bets are based upon the premise that gimmic offenses lose their gimmic when the opposing defenses have extensive time to prepare. In these two games the extra preparation time heavily favor BC and Auburn. I will try to do cobble a couple of writeups together for these games prior to kickoff, but here are the plays.
BC +7.5 (5 Units)
BC ML (3 Units)
Auburn -2 (10 Units)
Be back tomorrow!!!

Good Luck Jimmy! I hate Auburn but you have to bet money on them. I think this will be the easiest bet of the year. I also like the under what you think?

I hate bowls because they are so unpredictable overall. The biggest mistake I made was parlaying Auburn with several underdogs on the moneyline (all 6 lost) instead of playing them with the two or three games that had the best chance and your team Alabama should have been at the top of my list.
Seeing you on Auburn only cements my thoughts that they will be too much and really do not think it will be close. Might have to add a little more on Auburn (maybe a good deal more, not sure yet) to get back to where I was before betting bowls. Best of luck my friend. Not playing tonights game but will be pulling for you...

Nevada enters this game looking to snap a 4-game bowl losing streak. In each of those 4 losses Nevada's offense has failed to score their season average ppg, and in most cases they were considerably short.
Last season versus SMU they fell 30.58 points short of their season average. In 2008 they fell 2.83 points shy, in 2007 36.25 points shy, and in 2006 they fell 10.92 points shy.
Unfortunately for Nevada, this season they face Boston College who boasts the #1 rush defense in the nation which bodes well for their offensive woes in bowl games to continue.
Fortunately for Nevada is that BC may be one of the worse offensive teams in the nation averaging under 19 ppg. That means they may still pull out a win even if their offense struggles.
In the matchup between BC's stout run defense and Nevada's prolific rushing offense, history has shown that when defenses have time to prepare for the pistol, the defense seems to prevail. I believe we'll see that trend continue tonight.
Prediction: Boston College 20 Nevada 17

Great job as usual. Two or three weeks ago there was a thread with alot of predictions regarding the Auburn/Oregon game and as I recall both you and I were about the only one's seeing Auburn dominating tomorrow with Oregon having no answer for Auburn's power running game. Really looking forward to tomorrow and thanks again for the winner tonight...Best Of Luck...
