good stuff in this thread
Thanks Bud. Good Luck this Week
Notre Dame ex starting LB Jordan Heath has left the team as of this past Monday.

Navy has decided to return to full contact practice , effective immediately .
I mentioned in my Week 1 thread to be on the lookout for " non contact '
practice teams . There are more of them out there than just Navy .
Be Careful in these early weeks .
Look out Temple and Tulane , here come the Middies

To take this one step farther. While I was watching the game , I saw BYU RB's and WR's
open in Navy's secondary , and DB's standing there waiting for others to make initial
contact. This happened more than once. That will stop with full contact practice as
Coach Ken will be able to see who is willing and who is not. Those who are willing
will start their next game.

Georgia Tech has decided on their starting QB . They are not giving us his name right now.
My guess is that it is going to be Graham .

I think that the beatdown Navy suffered against was a great teaching moment for Navy
and that they will be much improved because of it . That should give bettors a few
wagering opportunities on Navy as bookmakers and bettors alike will not soon
forget this game.
Full Disclosure : I felt that BYU for the reasons I cited in my Week 1 and other threads :
1. Inexperience at the QB position .
2. Inexperience at OLine ( 27 career starts )
3. Significant mass advantage in both O & D lines .
Was the correct play in this game , and why I bet it . I bet it early and got the points as well.
These are the kind of an edge that can be rewarding to bettors. If we dig to find them.
If I can't find an edge on a matchup that will increase my WP , I will always pass on it.
Something to think about .

The " Gonna Kill ems " continue to bet it up to 22'. Chasing what they lost on the early games.

BYU - Jackson McChesney the #2 RB in phil OFY with injury .. Allgerier and Katoa did well and think Finau was out for last game .. Maybe they don't need him back right away but they really don't need another outchie to pop up in that group, especially next week ..

They started the season thin at the RB position , this does not help. Sitake may have to
go to Plan B , which is to put one of them stubby D Linemen in da backfield and let him
run over anything that gets in front of him.
P.S. BYU's passing game works pretty well also.
Bridge , thanks for the intel, buddy

No prob... did you see the new S.Miss coach?... Between Walden and Kubick you'd think they'll be mixing things up and doing it at a much faster tempo at some point here .... but where they end up exactly nobody knows lol.. just very noticeable how slow they were moving in the opener, playclock in red most of time .. think that might change soon.. maybe ...

I think in their opener S. Miss had 5 penalties on their first 6 offensive plays in the game.
Clearly they did not prepare well for their opener.

Bingo!!!!! Doc ,
Bingo!!!!! Doc ,
The line on the U is now - 16 , 16' . For all out there who took UAB + 14 , this should
be a teaching moment on developing your ability to predict line movement and
to avoid " buyers remorse " by buying your play too early as I wrote of earlier
in this thread.

That is exactly correct. It applies for wagering on both sides of the prop.

Could either of you shed some insight as to why this particular line movement is a teaching moment?

Simple . If you are a Miami backer , you've got a lot better chance of winning your wager
if you would have bought it when it was offered at 13 ' than buying it now at 16 '
