I strongly object to my own participation in this thread....
BUT.....of course there are fewer good Black QB's..........
WHY?....because there are MUCH fewer Black QB's.....
YOU F-U-C-K-I-N' IDIOT..........
*all due respect of course..................................
newsflash....Black guys are (most cases) faster / more athletic than we White boys....
*so perhaps they have relied on this advantage too often......and failed to develop passing skills....because in high school they didn't need to be a great passer
HUMAN NATURE : we tend to work on our strengths....and ironically.....avoid working on our weaknesses
*most importantly.....the reason why (most cases) they were moved to QB (from RB usually) is because they added the ability to run.....so they are encouraged to run more......throw less
only recently (relatively speaking) has the Black athlete NOT been automatically asked to play RB or WR.....and given the chance to play QB (as a youngster)....so as we have seen recently.....they will (continue) to arrive in college a more polished passer ..
3 of last 5 Heisman trophy winners?.........Black QB's
*Manziel kinda makes it 4...........
this is of course a highly disproportionate number....(relative to the actual number of Black QB's) ,.....
The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way.
