Adding W. Virginia -9.5 over Tennessee

The Tennessee offense was 124th in the nation last season. I expect improvements but it is a whole new system that will take time to gel. The Offensive line should be somewhat improved but they were atrocious last year and affected by tons of injuries. Defensively is where Pruitt shines but they are changing schemes from a 4-3 to a 3-4 and the personnel isn't there yet. Both starting corners are gone so that doesn't bode well against Will Grier and the W. Virginia passing attack. We all know about the W. Virg. QB but they also have the best WR core in the country. The offensive line also returns 4 starters. This offense should score points on everybody.  While the defense shouldn't be too stiff against the run, they should be good in the secondary. I just can't see Tennessee keeping up with the scoring in this game. I see a 
 38-23 type game.

Syracuse -4 (-125 bought the hook) I was going to save this one and do a write up but ended up on vacation the last couple of weeks- if I have time before I go offshore I will give some quick thoughts on this game

Nothing like a whole off season to prepare for the option.

My mistake- the above should read:

Syracuse -5. My line was 5.5 and I bought the hook!

You realize Duke lost it's defensive coordinator to Oklahoma State don't you? I'd be a little hesitant on this one....

Offshore and working nights while busy as heck- this site is filtered on my work computer so all post are from my phone- I don’t have time for write ups but here are a few more plays that I added:

Miami -2.5
Oregon -29.5
Tulane +7 - missed out on 8 and 8.5!
Texas -9.5. @-121 (bought the half point)


Still big leans on N Dame, Texas Tech and Arizona

Early plays:
Nebraska -20.5
W. Virginia -9.5
Syracuse -5 (bought half point)

I like Duke as well.  Both teams breaking in new offensive lines, but I that'll have a bigger impact on Army.

Really like the 'Cuse play.  Will probably be on that one with you.

Since the line dropped below 3, I'm warming up to Auburn as well.

Follow you blindly and truly appreciate your willingness to post and help others.  Think I've seen you say you use a local - was he offering Texas -10 currently?  Because since the McNair flare up every book I've seen is -13, -13.5 for the last week at least.  Just curious.  If your guy is offering stale lines like that, I'd like to use him.  LOL.  thanks again
