Another profitable week even though I made a couple of boneheaded halftime/live plays that messed up what would have been a perfect week- 

So far...........

Texas +3 over Mizzo- not sure how Texas doesn't dominate Mizzo on the line of scrimmage. The Longhorn defense is every bit as physical as Georgia's. How in the world is Mizzo favored?

SMU -5    They will flat out score points on this La. Tech squad- Unless their are injuries I don't know about, I believe SMU wins handily. 

Boston College +3   Again I think the wrong team is favored. The Boston College offense came alive the second half of the season. I will probably end up playing the ML as well but right now I will take the points. 

Leans.....

Clemson, Oklahoma, Troy, Oregon, Oklahoma St., 

All one unit plays except for Texas.........5 unit play!!!!!!!!!!!!

blowoutgm, horns have had 3 players already declare for the draft and won't play in the bowl game. 2 dbs, hill and Elliott along with off lineman, Williams.

Hill didn't play the last several games if I remember correctly. I didn't know about the offensive lineman though. Thanks for the information- I wiil look into it but I don't think it matters.

Hey Blowout, long time follower. I watch every UT game. Careful on Horns, Malik Jefferson the LB likely declaring as well. There are also rumblings that the OC Tim Beck, the one that all OSU fans loathe, will be resigning/canned after the game. Horns don't fare well vs good passing attacks, though in sure they're excited this is the first bowl in 3 years. I think there are better games on the board.

I'm also leaning Texas. My only concern right now with that game is Texas has 4 or 5 starters that are NFL bound and not playing I think....BOL this bowl season!

I just think that Texas will dominate the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball- they are probably going to give up some big plays but they should pound Mizzo into submission and pull away in the second half- 5 units is my biggest play of the year- I figure I saved most of my winnings and the bowl season my favorite and most profitable time most seasons so why not-

Just keep checking the line- if it looks like it will go back down then buy the half and get it at +3. If not then wait and see if it does go to +3.

Upside-

 

BC will have their backup QB in again as the starter is done for the season- He was 16 for 20 for 250 yds and a TD in his last start so I am not too worried about him- He has a stud RB in Dillon to lean on and the BC defense looked very good in the second half of the season- Should be a good game but I like B.C. in this spot-
