Bobs 10 Unit Wed Play Write-up

Question

Week: 1-1 &#x2B;6.75 UnitsThis week All my plays will be 10 Units, with the exception of last nights halftime play which I wagered 3 Units and Lost.....We started off on the right foot with Ohio, tonight we continue the winning ways, with a Solid Play it is My GOM.......10 Units: Toledo  &#x2B;1717 Points is way to many points to give a team that has the 18th ranked Offense in the nation.....Yes their Defense sucks, but when you have such a potent pass attack and a good Run offense like Toledo does, it will allow them to keep it within the 10 point mark.....I actually have a good feeling Toledo may beat them outright especially if Opelt Plays....Toledo has scored more then 30&#x2B; in all but 1 Game, The One they didn&#x27;t was  against a Good Ohio St team.....Now lets not take anything away from Cent Michigan, they had won 7 straight going into the BC game, but have they played anyone that has an offense like Toledo? My final decision was finally where I came to the play being my POM......Toledo has played Big 10 Ohio St and Purdue, Big 12 Colorado .....These games will certainly make you a stronger team, Having faced Bigger physical teams only makes you Better......Good Luck!!!!!

Bob, I have checked out your plays since the basketball playoffs and you are a solid capper..... BUT..... seems like you are chasing a bit after a couple of bad weeks erased your early profit..... you had a good weekend, but is this a 10 unit play because it is a that strong of a play, OR because of your strong weekend, you are willing to take a chance in order to get to your stated goal of 200 units for the football season?

I have noticed that you take bigger chances when you are having a profitable week (eg you are a progressive bettor) and I would appreciate if you would elaborate.

Best of luck, I will probably just take my chances with the over.....

I only see 2 games this year in which Toledo scored more than 30.  What am I missing?

sorry didnt see the purdue and colorado games...but still thats less than half their games in which they score 30.

Very Good question.....I consider myself a Money Management type player....Build early Profits and get somewhat aggressive, as the season Rolls on....I am in the plus currently and feel tonights play is a strong play....If I were on the Minus in Units this week it would still be a 10 Unit Play....There are alot of Factors that have swayed me in making Toledo a 10 Unit Play.....Strength of Competition, Great Offense and a &#x2B;17 line makes the play A very Strong Play.....If you are just starting out with me, and are in the building Bankroll stage, Maybe start off a little smaller and build as the week goes on....I have a Very Strong Weekend Card......Good Luck!!!!

Opelt and the fact that Toledo has the ability to light up the scoreboard would worry me if I was backing CMU.  GL

I really expect both are very ready to play.&#xD;&#xA;" First, CMU (7-2, 5-0 MAC) has established itself as the premier program in the MAC over the past few years, so a few added practices to get ready the Chippewas was important. More significantly, perhaps, Toledo&#x27;s top two quarterbacks, senior Aaron Opelt and freshman Austin Dantin, have been dinged up in the last few weeks so they definitely needed the extra healing time. &#xD;&#xA;Opelt has missed two games with a shoulder injury, while Dantin missed one game with a sprained ankle. Both QBs played vs. Miami on Oct. 31, but both players had to come out of the game due to soreness from their respective injuries, Both players have been practicing, but as of Monday morning their playing status for the CMU game was still "day to day," and may not be determined until game day, according to Beckman. &#xD;&#xA;Robb, not sure where you are getting your data from but Toledo has not scored 30 since Oct. 3 against Ball St.   Statistically, Toledo has done very well but it does not seem to translate to points on the scoreboard, at least not lately.    If Opelt plays and he is healthy, they have a shot at this cover.   But rest assured the Chips will be going after that shoulder hard - one hit and he could be done (Sam Bradford vs UT ring a bell?).    I personally like the CM team total - Toledo defense is porous (107th) and LeFevour having two weeks to prepare should mean big numbers.   Lets see if Toledo can keep up.   Either way BOL...
