Clemson and Ohio st....
This game to me is not so much about Watson vs Ohio st defense. It's really not.... Ohio st has a very solid group on the defensive side of the ball no question. But Watson is gonna get his....he just is. He is the best player in the country make NO mistake about it. This kid plays at a elite level at elite moments.
This game is about the Clemson DL vs the Ohio st OL. Clemson in my opinion will dominate this matchup. Clemson DL is actually better and deeper than last season if you can believe that. The secondary is actually better.... the LB are actually better. Clemson is the only team not named Alabama that can go deep.... they have depth.
Football guys can appreciate this comment... Clemson has dudes...
What Ohio st can do to give Clemson problems is matchup their RB's and scat backs in space with our LB's. I think Urban's gameplan is just that. Problem is when you are getting pushed around up front it's hard to get the ball rolling.
Clemson IMO will come out the gate and smack Ohio st in the mouth... Will Ohio st respond? I think they will...I look for a good game....but in the end, Clemson will take this game.
