Boom...... I had to take the time in mid game(31-0) to say thanks for this particular play. Colorado had me for a bit of a loop this year with their record and was on the fence with this game until I saw your pick.

A few notes:

Look, I understand the TCU line movement has favored them.... I don't care. I think Georgia's running game is going to control this game. I don't like the Kirby Smart vs Gary Patterson match up. Honestly, I think Kirby Smart is Will Muschamp.....they're the same guy in my eyes. When I watch Kirby talk I see a guy who is a product of the good ole boy system.....What that? They're these guys who are in the coaching industry who recycle each other. Once he washes out at Georgia....and he will.... he will get ANOTHER big job simply because he's been in the system at other places.

Successful programs these days are like the ones from Clemson, W. Michigan, Justin Fuente at V.T, Matt Rhule at Baylor, David Shaw at Stanford.....etc, etc.... These are young energetic guys who are " bright " minds who understand it. Kirby Smart Couldnt coach a High School team.... Honestly, You and I could coach Alabama's defense.....

UNC / Stanford. I really hate picking the winner of this game. Larry Fodera is moron if you ask me and David Shaw is a great coach. But I do like the over.... UNC can't stop anyone and Stanford isn't great. So..... Give me some points. Watch for Ryan Switzer to have a huge game.

The fact S. Alabama is in a bowl game shows that the system is broken..... Air Force is gonna score and score often.

Michigan should win this game..... Should. But I will tell you this. They havent seen a offense like the one they're about to see. Either one could win this game and it would not surprise me. But I do think we're looking at a 34-31 type game maybe.

hey bud... again. I dont love the pick either.... but I have to make a pick on the game....only because im picking every game.

Tennessee and the SEC is hot garbage right now.... but Tommy Armstrong is out....so I think it helps.

The Playoff games:

Look Alabama is tremendous, they're the best ever, they can't be stopped, greatest team of all time...... see where i'm going here? Look, they're a very very good football team....But Alabama is about to enter something that this current Alabama team hasn't experienced this season....equal like opponents. Now by me saying " equal like opponents " doesn't mean I'm telling you that Washington will beat Alabama.... But what I'm telling you is that Washington is and will be the best team they faced yet to this point in the season.

Washington does alot of the things well.... I bet most of you guys don't know much about this secondary of Washington....do you? Well guess what, that secondary of Washington is the best among the 4 teams in the playoffs. Wow.....I know you're shocked..LOL. But yes, it's true.

Washington has 2 WR that are lights out. John Ross is ELECTRIC! Don't believe me? Tune in at 3pm today.... Dante Pettis is a serious legit deep threat. Washington has players that can make you look silly in space....

Alabama does everything well... I could go on and on about this or that, but you know the deal.... Alabama is well coached and top notch athletes. Am I saying Washington is gonna beat Alabama....No. But what I ma telling you with certainty.....Washington will come to play tonight.    


Clemson and Ohio st....

This game to me is not so much about Watson vs Ohio st defense. It's really not.... Ohio st has a very solid group on the defensive side of the ball no question. But Watson is gonna get his....he just is. He is the best player in the country make NO mistake about it. This kid plays at a elite level at elite moments.

This game is about the Clemson DL vs the Ohio st OL. Clemson in my opinion will dominate this matchup. Clemson DL is actually better and deeper than last season if you can believe that. The secondary is actually better.... the LB are actually better. Clemson is the only team not named Alabama that can go deep.... they have depth.

Football guys can appreciate this comment... Clemson has dudes...

What Ohio st can do to give Clemson problems is matchup their RB's and scat backs in space with our LB's. I think Urban's gameplan is just that. Problem is when you are getting pushed around up front it's hard to get the ball rolling.

Clemson IMO will come out the gate and smack Ohio st in the mouth... Will Ohio st respond? I think they will...I look for a good game....but in the end, Clemson will take this game.

Spot on (as usual) except for one comment. I don't think the Huskies secondary will have to be a factor in the passing game and if they get involved when Hurts gets out into open space, watch them ping pong off of him or get steamrolled by a fast lineman......Huskies have not seen a team like this and that is the point really isn't it? I have tons of respect for what I saw with the Huskies this year especially their defensive speed and skill but it won't matter with the way the offense of Bama presents constant attention to matchups and speed/power having to constantly be 'in your face' and forcing you to react and not panic.....most teams panic and then Hurts is in the end zone

Lets get Clemson to the promised land today and test their hearts and skills on this Bama juggernaut.....

P.s....I faded Bama on every line of -14 or worse this yr and was completely embarassed....and if the Huskies were to play in the SEC, I doubt they would be here but maybe playing a couple of days ago!

Boom...long time follower, big fan of yours, missed your weekly picks this year. I did however want to play devils advocate regarding this Washington/Bama game. While this will be the best team Bama has faced, when you look at the teams Washington has faced, only one was truly talented and that was USC. USC destroyed this team, too much speed and athleticism, Washington looked completely out of sorts. The only other good team you could argue that Washington actually beat was Utah, who looked suspect in losses to Oregon and Cal. Will be interesting to see how they fair against this Bama team.

I love the Georgia Tech game- I can't see Kentucky stopping the triple option at all. Clemson/Ohio St. will be a good game but I think the Buckeyes win that one 27-24. I like Louisville today but that game is a toss up in my opinion. Nice write ups

Can't see Kentucky stopping G.T..... Kentucky is ok.... better than in the past. But they were in the sec east this year which IMO is the worst division in college football.

absolutely... you're correct. This is without question Washington toughest test... But I don't really think I need to make a case for Alabama, that's why I didn't really spend any time talking about it...we all know Alabama is tremendous.

Boom Boom- mad respect for you. But you clearly have issues with the SEC bias. Granted, my dad is IPTAY and I love Clemson too.... so this isn't meant to be a slight against you personally.

But don't say this "sec east this year ... is the worst division in college football" and really mean it. I can name 30 divisions below it without looking garbage up. Tennessee and Georgia win their bowls, Gators will win most likely, shitty SC almost beat a good USF team.

Common man!!!! And go tigers.
