But 5 days after this sad and obvious display of "fake betting in a desperate attempt to overcome the 92-125 -239.38 units hole he dug for himself on an internet forum with his "pretend bets", out of the blue, he attacks me multiple times in the NFL sub forum. I said nothing to this dude and he attacks me!!!

The obvious issue here is NOT correcting a guy's record, but clearly trolling in a huge grandstanding sort of way. It should be shut down immediately.
The only way - guy makes a mistake? - DM him (if you just can't let it go). Or at worst a simple note - "thanks for the picks, but gotcha at 7-9 last week". Unless it's a new guy / tout wannabe type, begging to be put in his place - who TF cares anyway? Wizerguy has been posting for what 20 years?
The NET effect? - running off guys that know what they're doing - leaving you with the current Handicapping Idiocracy situation you have now. 5 guys that know what they're doing (that post) - thousands that don't - a few jackasses that only serve to harass productive posters.
