Anyway .. 

Bowl plays from fan droppin today .. pickin em off as they come out here's how that went .. tough to call em plays when the lines move quick a few of em might still be around or close enough ..  all these at fan duel btw .. 

BRIDGE BOWLS

JVILLE STATE +3.5 .. moment they've been waiting for .. now they got it .. yeah they're showing up ULL ho-humm year full decline from the glory days .. would consider this at a pick'em if you can see there's no major injuries but first bowl out the chute and hard to imagine Jville is not ready willing and able to play a great game .. assuming Rich Rod doesn't get picked up in the next couple weeks .. hit this one 3.5 and ML .. 

MIAMI OH / APP UNER 51.5 .. App is a really good bowl team and might be some unfinished business to tend to after Troy THROTTTTLED them .. but man this Redbird squad also shows up to bowls, played app tough in one a few years back as huuuuge dogs got the cover I believe not the win .. Miami shows up and the D is sticky as heck .. I took small on ML and +4.5 also put em in a few parlays combined w the total under .. 

BOISE STATE +3.5 .. what in the world are they thinking here .. Boise shows up to bowl games .. they're def shwing up for a big name like UCLA .. Bru Crew just had their DC swiped by USC and I'd say things look pretty grim for them .. also 5 star (but really like maybe 2 star) QB hit the portal .. UCLA has a VERY VERY good run D but offense stuuunk this year .. but lost to swinging gate ASU offense showed for USC and didn't even show vs Cal .. only shot here is if Bruins get the pro prospects to play and able to keep Boise's run game at bay .. if they're out its insane trouble ..  Bruins one of my least fav bowl teams playing one of my favorites .. i hit Boise about every way I could w the points, ML and parlays .. GO BRONCOS!! .. 

UTSA -8.5 .. smaller play but the deal here is UTSA has yet to win a bowl and lotta the guys are in far and away the best program they can be in .. missed this -7 was gone quick but still hit for this number .. Marshall shows for bowl games .. at least they used to .. but this is a diff team and one the portal probably comes calling .. heard Coach Traylor talk about this one and UTSA also got some injuries during Tulane incredibly physical game .. but very happy playing a bowl before christmas in Texas and yeah lackluster opponent Its not like playin Troy last year but that's just it Herd is a team they can lay out badly and pseudo home field bowl win still a goal I think they get there ..

WYOMING +1.5

Pokes are a team we can always count on come bowl season to show up strong and Toledo short hops in so many games that they're almost unplayable if there's not a MAC championship on the line .. and this year they couldn't gather themselves to even do that .. This is such a hugely deflating spot for them and Wyo perpetually tough great in a bowl game .. hittin this one points and ML

ARIZONA -1.5

Danger that Jed Fisch gets picked up but not as worried about the portal for AZ they knew what their destiny was a while back and haven't seen anyone hit the portal .. if Fisch stays then pretty much all of them are in the program that gives them the best shot at big stats and a big year .. yeah I don't think unless a boat load of money drops that some of these guys will be thinking TAMU or some other spot w no QB is their best way to look good / give em a shot at the next level or have an epic fun year .. Cats hold the line and they can make some magic next year .. Oklahoma epic disappointment and gotta be awful watchin Pokes get throttled by the Horns .. they did show up last year vs FSU but moving conferences and wayyyy bigger fish to fry also new OC needed and Venables would be more than right to play all his hot shot true FR recruits in this one .. AZ's goal simply to knock their block off .. 

AIR FORCE +6.5

knocked down to +4.5 which still seems insane .. this team shows up to every bowl game and while JMU was on my list of MUST PLAY teams that changed quick w coach leaving to Indiana and taking most all the on field coaches and now J-Mac is in the portal aaaand yeah I hit this one immediately and while I think whats left of JMU does show up their situation vs AF spells serious trouble .. surprised JMU is layin anything let alone 4.5 here .. hit this 6.5 and ML just about every way I could prop bet same game etc .. 

FUN BET

USF ML/OVER 57.5 .. 3.4-1

Gotta be exciting making a bowl for S.FLA and playin in Boca .. there's wind and rain danger to this one but man o man the points should hit and maybe easy no matter who cuse has lacin em up at QB or anywhere else .. sounds like Cuse is getting throttled in the portal and maybe fun bowl game to go on but I doubt one they're interested in playing .. GO BULLS .. 

LOUISVILLE -6.5

Are we baking in already that Caleb Williams is playing? .. seems like it .. I get Ville w a major letdown but Brohm shows up in town and leads them to near epic ACC title run .. its a deflating loss but this team was together all year brothers on an epic journey and I can't imagine they are all just bolting before playing USC here .. USC w out their DC, just swiped UCLA's dude, good move, but this is a spot to pound out that frustration and USC w Williams was totally unmotivated by seasons end .. guys the #1 pick and posturing like he's playing .. maybe he does idk but whenever its confirmed he's not taking that kinda risk then this line should jump because Trojans were not a good team even w that guy and he's worth like 20 power rating points compared to the backup QB .. USC does have a FR stud who didn't see the field much Malachai Nelson had 3 att 1 completion .. they'd do themselves a huge favor and tell Caleb to hit the bricks and put their next up dude in this one get the bugs out in this game instead of vs B10 D's next year .. anyway said I was playing anyone vs USC entering the bowl week and this is a good enough situation and brand name team .. think minimal risk Ville's QB Plummer doesn't play I assume he didn't get injured vs FSU in any way but that could be .. Plummer was Brohm's QB back at Purdue and when he left to CAL and had a not great year LY Brohm took him to the promised land .. yeah he's not going anywhere .. likely good set up vs potential epic garbage game for the Trojans .. 

NOTRE DAME -10.5

Another one we kinda grit our teeth on but this line already says Gunnery Sargent Hartman is not playing or else Fan Duel is not following the magnitude of the likely dumpster fire Oregon State might show up with .. DJ U, along w Martinez and Gould at WR out I'd expect quite a few more .. HC out took OC with him to MSU .. DC promoted but said in his intro speech he wasn't doing the bowl game .. equity initiative gives WR coach his big break to coach this one .. can't blame the new HC I wouldn't want to either ... the wildcard is Aiden Chiles at QB, theres a reason DJ Fat Ass is ducking out once again but gunna have to do it all himself I think... I'm not keen on ND layin points in post-ssn play w out out Hartman but think we got enough of a good team here to beat a team going thru big problems and turnover .. but also think Hartman's college swan song is coming in this game, thought we'd see it vs Stan but only 150 yds and Beavs were in bad shape on their back end if Hartman plays then expect a huge a really big drubbing .. Also think Freeman can't ignore the bowl game already questions about his coaching ability and literally playing an HC-less team here .. would never hear the end of it lol .. If waiting to hear about the players and Hartman is out then maybe line drops to a TD or less I'd think about taking it there too ..

Hit on BOL .. Run on the bank for utah QB Barnes expecting to play will now be in the portal .. hard to gauge NU I would expect maybe some guys to bolt but this is team unity brotherhood play on team and insane they're getting 9 here .. went to 7.5 at BOL and hit it again .. Gunna be 4 pretty soon and I'd think maybe under 3 if not a pick'em by kickoff if the portal trends hold .. the one good thing for Utah is Rising already in for next year and that's such an anchor to keep the team together .. guess im fingers xx'd hes not suddenly playing the bowl lol .. but yeah guess there is sort of a loose end there and the hope that CATS UNITY holds strong here .. it should ..

 Yeah Greene is a surprise .. does say he's not opposed to coming back .. ooof man was hoping for easy Bronco bucks there .. might not be as easy now but I think they'll find a guy to hand the ball off .. Boise 3 deep in RB's hoping Jeanty stays but Holani the senior we can count on playing and #3 Jambres Dubar is their freshman stud .. may get a good dose of him in the bowl .. but yeah 2 weeks to the Bowl and I figured the guys would at least stick till then w the interim HC everyone likes being promoted yesterday to the team's delight .. we'll see .. 

Good news is in all the PORTAL INSANITY yesterday that was really the only bad news that came in on my teams .. I did have some bucks on MIA OH ML and Avion Smith leaving prob seals the under for us but idk how they win that one .. hit App ML soon as I heard that should break even now on the small redbird win bucks .. yeah wild day lol WIIILD~

Wyoming HC Craig Bohl retiring after bowl game .. only seen 1 guy hit the portal for them and just a great record of always showing up to their bowl games in the past win or lose the bowls matter a bit for them .. total game changer tho w their leader's last game I'd feel pretty good takin em -1 when Toledo has a few portalers already including QB Finn and a couple others that might be worth checking on .. Rockets did show up vs Liberty last year played well after they won the conference .. maybe they rally but I'd say after a disappointing conf champ gm loss and starting to lose guys and otherwise just constantly pulling no-shows in and outta conference for years now I'd go ahead an elevate Wyo as a play at this point .. Took em right away +1.5 and I'd expect this to move to -3 at least assuming the portal and opt out situations hold for each team, think we can rely on the Pokes to show up looking to send Bohl out a winner here, his announced retirement is def a buy signal since the line / ML are right around a pick'em now .... good luck!

Bowl confidence meter .. 

Good to assess how confident we are in teams showing up .. long way to go for some of these but here's a few I think we can start liking at this point .. 

WYOMING .. as noted above .. win one for bohl .. one guy in portal so far that I can tell .. 
KANSAS .. lost OC to Penn State but we saw them show up big vs Ark last year and this is such a good opponent and bowl game to romp .. 
UTSA .. starting to look like an unfinished business type motivation for these guys .. deflating end yes but got a bowl in texas before christmas and coach is stayin .. that roster is w the coach and maybe lose a few of their best guys but I can't see Harris or some of the others bolting on the team before this game .. 
TROY .. they showed up vs UTSA big last year after their SB win in dualing conf champ'ers showdown .. hard to imagine they'll be as horny for duke but unless coach or QB gets plucked I think we got team unity here, could see some guys from the good D xfer or opt out but that's not a huuuge concern IMO .. 
SMU .. not seeing tons of guys leaving or declaring .. should be some but if this is not a team gearing up for a MASSSIVE 2024 than idk who is .. and given how we saw Pitt and Miami totally exploit BC's secondary I'd expect SMU to run a train on this team if they realllly want to .. 11am game in Boston after x mas is not the best draw to effect an ass whippin tho ..  might be the only edge BC has in this one .. 
MIZZOO .. line moved by the time I posted here but hit them +6.5 and ML .. they're now 1.5 pt favs .. idk if the line makes perfect sense to play em but its hard to quantify the gap between the level of disappoint for the program and team vs just how baaaad Drinkwitz, Mizzoo and that whole team I think want to win this one .. 

A few more on the radar right now 

RUTGERS .. bowl win would mean sooo much and playin in the backyard at Yankee Stadium vs a decently good name .. Schiano might strap a helmet on himself if the team is too injured up .. def check injuries, opt outs and xfers .. but yeah this is a realllly meaningful game for this program .. 
S.BAMA .. playing home stadium vs EMU .. only seein the good RB hit the portal and they should wax these guys BAAAD.. hugely disappointing year and team either shows or pulls a total no show .. would check QB injuries / backup RB .. but a bowl win for SO.Bama is majorly important and got waxxed last yr by WKY and unless coach is out by bowl game I would expect a good strong showing here vs a team they should dominate .. 
N'WESTERN .. seen one guy hit the portal .. actually expected a ton to leave if they didn't make a bowl out of disappointment over Pat's firing .. maybe see more guys bolt after the bowl but man o man #CATWORLD looks like they are sure thing showin up to play a very banged up and fairly portal ravaged Utes squad .. Utes do show up for bowl games too and there's a strong core of well coached guys on that team .. would watch close who plays for da Utes / injuries, hard to tell what Utah will look like at this point could be better than expected but could also be alot worse ..

Sad to see Bohl go. Those Josh Allen Pokes teams were electric to watch. So much going on the offensive side of the ball, funny for WYO.

 I see and understand that you like to get Bowl Plays and most of your plays early. This is an informative question for me, not a nasty one what so ever (I don’t know how people take what they read so I’m just stating this). 

If you bet a game early and get a GREAT line like Missouri plus 6, and now they are a 2 point favorite, that’s amazing! What do you do if you take a favorite or an underdog and they have transfer portal players, QB isn’t playing, coach leaves, etc? Do you buy the other side, let it ride, buy the other side ML or spread depending on the shift?

I was having a conversation with Bookie Assassin and I personally find it difficult to wager Bowl games in general, forget early. You obviously put time in and try to select what you think are winners, and I hope they all win. I have no reason to root against you. 

I appreciate the time. I’ll look forward to your choices regarding the Semifinals. I like Alabama ML and Washington ML (but I’ll take Washington with the points to be sure hopefully). Merry Christmas!

Hahaaaa yeah really need ASU to be relevant and best way to do that is to have both teams relevant and playin good .. UA stinks most of the time and ASU kinda barely hovers above them and still loses .. this was a good wake up call, Jedd will be gone soon enough maybe this helps the devils aim higher .. but yeah its so easy to change conferences and be totally irrelevant for a decade or longer .. much easier for ASU to be MD, RUT, NEB, COLO, TAMU, MIZZOO and not Utah or TCU w their once in a while good year .. need all the motivation to be good that they can get .. actually think this wasa good year all things considered they nix'd the bowl game pre ssn didn't care as much about winning now more gearing themselves into position to be more competitive next year maybe be good in 2 years .. same thing UA had to do and yeah looong way to go to catch them lol but .. go devils .. good luck bubba!

 Moose I think you reallllly gotta look at the situation for each team .. coaches motivations personnel .. I stupidly hit ND not really thinking of their situation, good team sure but disappointing year and heading to the sun bowl to play Oreg St .. I had beavs as a team very unlikely show up for various reasons figured they'd be throttled in the portal baaaad .. coaching sitch is very bad IMO not just losing HC/OC but DC promoted isin't coaching the bowl, WR coach gets that honor lol .. but didn't reallly think it thru and ND might get throttled worse when all's said and done .. so yeah im sitting w a bad line mover now .. im not doing anything .. my hope is Hartman plays and what's left of the team kinda rallies to the spot .. at the very least Im hoping Beavs don't and ND just kinda runs over em w or w out Hartman .. but looking like alot to ask .. 

If I was sitting w OSU -6 I'd feel pretty dumb, shoulda been an easy read that Mizoo realllly wants this game team unity, etc .. OSU w an epic deflator and tons of NFL talent that came back just for another crack at the playoff whiffed in the big game .. the portal activity and just the fan site articles what they're concerned about gives us an idea what the coaches attitudes prob are for this game and its exactly what we'd think .. if I was sitting on OSU -6 I'd try to hedge out in game OSU romps to a quick early score ..  last thing you wanna do is chase a likely loss or steam into a massive line move esp in bowl season .. all the bad news seems to come at once and yeah pretty much all the bad came for OSU and line moved massively .. maybe the bad news just keeps piling on OSU idk but let's say if the move now is we think Mizoo rolls in this one better make sure the assumptions hold to kickoff and its not like all of a sudden a bunch of starters crept out the portal or gettin their post-ssn surgery done etc .. really hard to keep a team together right now and teams that still look put together might not look that way in a few weeks .. my 2 cents ..
