Its so funny that the OSU fans in here are building themselves up by cutting illionois off at the knees.  Wouldn't you want to say illinois is a good team since they are the ones that beat you?  And wouldn't it look better for the big 10 if you started talking about illinois being a good big 10 team???  By bashing illinois you are saying you lost to a bad team, that's third in a "good" conference?  Explain to me how that works???  If any of you actually think that OSU is going to win the national championship next year, you're crazy.  The big ten is as irrelevant as the SWAC, no one from the big ten is winning a national championship for a very long time.  OSU can win the next 50 big ten titles and it wont get them a natty.  The pac 10, sec, and big 12 are head and shoulders above, and this is pathetic b/c they are terrible but, even the Vtech, bc, and miami less big east is starting to catch up to the big 10 (apparently so is App St.). 
 
Stop talking about winning anything, you lost, and you aren't nearly as good as any of the other one loss teams (maybe ASU), so shhh, ITS F'ING OVER BIATCHES!

Oh god...OSU idiots blaming the refs and luck as why Illinois took it to them.  At least be real about it.  Illinois out played them that game...PERIOD.   Luck is getting a last second play or a fluke touchdown in the end, OSU was down 14 in the 4th and got out played.  Nice D to give up an 8 minute + drive.
 
How funny the OSU idiots are blaming refs about a game, when if it was for a certain ref, OSU wouldn't have won shit in 2002.  Now that's the facts.
 
Last years game BCS title game was a joke.  Homers saying Ted Ginn getting hurt played a huge role.  What D position did he play again?  I don't think it was him giving up 38 points.  What O line player was he?  Because I don't recall him being the one responsible for stopping the continuous on slaught of a mad pass rush.
 
State your man love crush for your football team, but don't clutter your reasoning with excuses, it then makes your team look that much more pathetic.

Big Ten may be down this year...but this list is a joke.  Tennessee, West Virginia, USC, Kansas, Georgia would have a ZERO % chance at running the table.  The others, perhaps would have a shot.  I also think Kansas wouldn't do it...but if they beat Oklahoma and Mizzou, then that would change my thinking.

once again...I AM NOT A FAN OF OSU OR THE BIG TEN.... but i do watch college football. and i did watch illinois fumble the ball at osu's 4 yard line and i did see the ball roll into the endzone and i did see osu recover the ball. and i do remember illinois scoring after the touchback wasnt called. ONCE AGAIN I AM NOT A FAN OF OSU. i do like to watch games that are called fairly though. illinois did outplay osu but osu had to play the refs too. i also read an article that those refs shouldve been on suspension.
 
as for 2002. maybe i could go back in time and care about that game. but probably not

Yeah you take away this "mystery" TD and the game would be tied and who knows what happens. So yeah ill you and the refs beat OSU. You caught OSU looking ahead to Mich as you know you'd have to get very lucky to beat OSU no matter where the game is.

It could have a lot to do with the blatant homerism exemplified by Buckeyes dans.  Making excuses constantly like a Democratic  politician.  Just admit when your team doesn't show up.  Every team loses.

I guess Ron Zook is the only one to think of recruiting speed to play in the big ten? NOT!!!! Check out the numbers on this years recruiting class and next years for OSU. Pretty much loaded up on speed players. Let me throw out a name to you all Brandon Saine. You heard it here first this guy will be a beast and as for speed he makes Ted Ginn look like an old lady in a walker. Illini finish top 3 of big ten next year at best.

Oh yeah. Michigan is up there too. However, they have both Great Lakes Brewery and Bells Brewery. Plus the U.P. of Michigan isn't all that bad. Yeah, Ohio is still worse.

this and your other statements are some pretty big generalizations.  not that i have any problem with most buckeyes fans on this site, but using 5 or 6 people's statements on a gambling forum to make your decisions about an entire fanbase?  come on. 

by the way i'd really like to see your sooners in the title game; i think they are by far the best team in the nation right now; i just hope that if the bucks miraculously get back in the picture that we can avoid you

Please explain to me how anyone in the big ten could stop the west virginia attack. thats right they wouldnt. Why would Usc not be able to run the table? And Georgia has a zero percent chance because why?
