But look what they did after that! Hey Boom, once yo mama nurses you back to yo feet, bow back down on Bamas diik, you fukin worthless douche! Btw, thanks for letting Saban know CFB was changing. Lololololol... Just think about all that bull shat you spilled on here about how bad Clemson would "destroy" Bama if they met. And then think how you fukin back peddled when they both got in the NC game. Lmao. I bet that onside kick really pissed you off didn't it? And I bet you wish you woulda took the +7 instead of the ML... Lmao you fukin ass clown.

Clemson has 8 high school All Americans to Bama's 42..Clemson doesn't have one single thing to be ashamed of.Bama knows how fortunate they were to win that game.I don't see Saban going ANYWHERE for years which will leave Dabo in Clemson.I know how it feels to come so close & come up short .It stings badly, but the fact Watson is coming back is a scary one for the rest of CFB.Popkick was the difference, but what I'm reading was completely ILLEGAL,but crying about it does nothing.Just came up a tad short. That's sports. It was a helluva season.Already suffering The CFB season is over Blues.

what a game! bama did good containing Watson on the designed qb power/counter. they stuck him good and you can see they didn't call it as much as they did vs Oklahoma. Watson really hurt Alabama scrambling out of the pocket. awesome toughness, pocket presence and poise. the kid is special and will be the first overall pick. the passing game was super productive. thought Alabama would mix up their coverage more as it appeared to be primarily man to man. #29 from Alabama should be embarrassed the white boy walk on freshman did a number on him. Alabama was very vanilla in the beginning with a standard for man rush. as the game went on, they got more creative with where the pressure would come from. absolutely love how alabama's defense is coached to come down hill and make the ball go east and west. #10 played out of his mind at linebacker (thought he outplayed Ragland) and showed good discipline picking up the back out of the backfield on the wheel rout.
Clemson DL outplayed alabama's OL, with the front 7 losing their gap integrity on a couple of long runs by Henry. this and the meltdowns in the secondary hurt. I don't see anything in Kearse from Clemson that says NFL stud. maybe he had a bad game but I didn't even see athleticism. bama made the big plays when it counted on offense.
special teams ultimately the difference. ballsy call and beautifully executed onside kick plus the return for a td. imo, Clemson was the better team, bama had the better night.
some of you guys seem to be going a little overboard with the boom boom thing. maybe you guys had your own conversations throughout the year and maybe it warrants it a little bit. but make no mistake, boom can cap it and I can't help but think jealousy plays a part.
anyways, great game to cap off a great year! hope boom sticks around.

I hope that some of you guys are just REALLY YOUNG *and so just ignorant ....as we all are/ were > me until I was 45 or so
Otherwise you can't be that DUMB............can you?..............
BOOM is the ONLY one who was RIGHT.... *meaning unlike the Bama homers...who knew ZERO about Clemson....including that silly azz FREAK....he offered an INFORMED opinion....that Clemson could compete AND win *it just didn't work out......but he was correct
Sure...he might have worded it differently............. *but what that suggested....is that Clemson could hold their own in the TRENCHES...... *note: They WON the battle in the trenches....and overall OUTPLAYED Bama...........at their own game.........
It took Saban.....putting his NUTS in a vice....(onside kick) to win the game (that's why he did it > he felt they were gonna lose if he didn't do something) *and a 95 yd KO return (helped with poor play by Clemson sure)
AND...I'll tell you what........those long gains to Howard *were right at the bu CB that replaced Alexander (a top 10 pick in NFL draft)........ *note : DE Lawson (1st rd) playing with sprained MCL and could hardly walk...did fine but maybe 60-70%
They out-gained Bama 550 > 473.....31 FD to 18 for Bama *sacked Coker 5X....DW sacked 2X *shut down Henry (but once)... and Ridley (6-14 yds) *on 35 carries he av 3.1/per....broke 1 for 50
Watson proved without a doubt he's the nation's top player ... *as Boom told you week 1 I'm guessing...
I was wrong as well....saying there was no smart play here *7 pt dog that steps up to beat the favorite at their own game....WAS no doubt the correct side................
The impediment to action advances action - what stands in the way becomes the way.

The antagonists you are referring to are ignorant and mentally and emotionally challenged. Anyone in there right mind can see that. They have the mentality of a grade school kid at best, as anyone with any type of maturity would not write the content they do in there postings, or stalk a thread they are not welcome in. To do so is childlike behavior at best.

Clemson brought their "A" game, no doubt. By far, the best they played all year. Bama brought their "C" game and were still up double digits with 30 seconds left.

Ease off the guy was a quality contributor to Covers forum. I've enjoyed his commentary and observations for several years.
However, in this particular matchup I knew he wouldn't be able to neglect partisanship. Not sure if he attended Clemson or had family members who graduated. Some people develop local ties with college programs for sentimental rooting interests.
I'm not even discussing the -6.5 or the late touchdown. He picked them straight.
The guy invests way more time studying college football than I would so I respect him. Both teams deserved to be in this game. In my opinion there was no "upset victory" to be had in this matchup. Books favored Alabama naturally. I wouldn't have been stunned if Clemson won. I didn't envision it occurring.
Alabama made winning plays and their coaching staff received the edge too. Even in Alabama's notable losses under Tsar Nick, most were products of sandlot football quarterbacks (excluding Cam Newton because he's a rare combination), uptempo spread crap, fluke plays, or untimely mistakes that subsequently produced collapses.
Last year against phony Urban Meyer is a prime example. Alabama has lost and will lose anon. The underlying theme is many of those past losses could or should have easily been wins.
The irrevocable fact is Emperor Saban embodies consistency. His level of consistency is a rare achievement in modern times even amongst major programs.
He and Alabama were a perfect match. It's been one successful campaign from the day he joined the university. If he could operate with such tyrannical control at the NFL level in the modern era, he would have been successful there as well. Not feasible so he knows where his talents flourish best.
Reprimanding Boom isn't necessary. He's been on the right side plenty of times. Alabama got it done and proved their worth. Acknowledge it and move on to next season. Competitive sports is an industry like anything else in modern society. One season concludes while another beckons.

Hypocritical no, and yes at times he could have handled himself better, and he admitted as much in his send off post today. Like him or hate him, very very few if any on this forum know the game of football and wagering better than Boom_Boom. Hitting over 60 percent of his picks is outstanding, as he was not playing just one or two games, but many.

glad that loser biased douchebag is gone and hope his slurping turd buddies join in him on suicide watch. Anyone who defends that clown is a weirdo.
Nobody is defending anything Boom says.....you know why?.......nobody gives a chit. What people do care about is winning $$$.........and some anonymous dude who happened to pick 60% winners is no longer going to share his educated opinion on this forum. Who benefits from that?

anyways, great game to cap off a great year! hope boom sticks around.
Beautifully said.
