Texas - So whats the deal with Texas? I know alot of people think it's time for Mac to step down, and to that I say non sense. Look you want to know the real reason Texas has been struggling the last few years? It's simple, I talk about it all the time and if you read my stuff on here you already know the answer, QB Play. This game is driven by QB play. It's a fact, if any one of you want to argue about it I can really explain why the QB position is and always has been the most important position on the filed. Teams who have QB's win Championships, fact. Yeah, you have a occasional year where a Baltimore ravens team won with good or at least above average QB play. But for every one of those teams you want to point out, I will point 20 to prove my case. Mac knows his team is struggling because the last few years he has had Zero play from that position. Am I convinced they will be much improved this year? I think there loaded at all potions at every level. I think there transforming into the type of team that is a physical smash mouth no non sense football team. But will it take them to the next level with the current QB's on this team? No. I dont think Texas can compete among the elite until they prove they have the " next " guy. You know what separates Texas and Oklahoma right now in the Big 12? Landry Jones, that's it. With all that being said, I still think Texas is talented enough to win 9 possibly 10 games, but it wont be enough to this conference. I think Texas needs to watch out for that trip to Ole Miss early in the season and as of right now, I cant see them beating Oklahoma. I really think that W.V has the edge on them right now too. By mid season if this offense hasn't shown any life then Baylor, you know the same Baylor who has beat their brains in the last two seasons, could beat them again. The solution is simple, your Texas. Act Like it.

so many forget that the cougs were 35-9 from 2001-2003, not that long ago. they will return to prominance inthe P12 soon enough, or at least respectability
