in Utah on Thurs night does look like one where USC gets picked off over the years
....UW won't win in Baton Rouge or Eugene (thanks nostra..captain obvious)....could knock off USC at home I guess, maybe around +14 in that one...although with that defense they may need 50 to outscore them, one more week to some large money on week 1 buddy

while TT's BC is only 7-5, when 8-4 is easily reachable. On and on with this absurd predictions
I think there are only 6 teams that have a legitimate chance to win the BCS Championship. That doesnt mean there are only 6 elite teams. In fact I think one of the teams playing would be a underdog against 7 teams it would be ahead of. It's a mix of scheduling and luck for sure. If I put Oregon in the ACC, Big East or Big ten thye may run the table and get there. But having to potentially beat USC twice on the road alot to ask. I hate the fact that Oregon still hasnt decided on a #1 quarterback. I cannot put them in the top three teams because of it. I cant justify that without knowing if its Bennett or Mariota behind center that they can beat Barkley. So there is a huge difference in my top 5 rankings where I think it will end up and the 5 best teams.
TOP 6 Teams
1) USC -- only weakness is depth due to scholarships being limited but they will run the table
2) LSU-- Can Mettenberger stretch the field enough so defenses have to play them honest ? they have a half dozen backs that coul dstart anywhere. The only think Iwill watch closely on D is how do the tw onew linebackers do after Baker and Francois left .. Tough end of the year schedule after an easy non conference start against Idaho, Townson, Washington
3) Oregon.. A year away... AlL American canadiates al over the field and a who's who on the watch list for every award Carson York-Outland John Boyett and Dion Jordan-Nagurski, De'Anthony Thomas ( Walter Camp ) Kenjon Barner- Doak Walker SO talented everywhere I just can trust tthe Qb
4) Alabama--- 7 offensive starters returning with AJ who is completely underrated. Lacy is no Mark Ingram or Trent Richardson and they are thin at receiver.. Defense returns 4 starters but Saban's defense is so complex it confuses most.. They visit Arkansas and LSU tough schedule
5) Florida State --- Defense is sick. Manue will have a solid year but not a Heisman year like some think. Schedule goes big time in their favor. Home against Clemson and Florida have a chance to run th etable. But their weakness is on the O line and that could hurt protecting th elead or needing that yard when it counts
6) Oaklahoma-- Heisman Canadiate at QB Reynolds and Kenny Stills wr.. Texas at home.. Tough games at end of th eyear at TCU and WVU but they could run the Table

Couldn't agree with you more about Leach and Wazzu. Pullman reminds me so much of Lubbock it's scary! He'll have them turned around immediately.
The thing I like about SC against Utah is they have a bye week leading up to it. It's the next game against Washington that is completely losable
