Amazing observation Hoo about new teams winning their conferences potentially of all the Power 4 conferences!
Do the traditional teams with time off get focused and pissed off enough to take 'their conference flags' back during the PLAYOFF race to the title? I will be thinking about this and you can bet I will be reading a lot of team news and watching what coaches and players say leading up to their first round games! Will those playing the first round give coaches enough time to work their rest and training period magic? First Round Playoff games begin Dec 20th.
I think someone said it right..... this might be the year to wait for lines before final games unless your early score analysis of a matchup can see that VEGAS made a major mistake in the early lines set out with the #13 - 75th ranked bowl teams
Proving is hard. Talk is easy.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with picking a wrong side in a game. Its going to happen. Its inevitable. The whole goal is to try and get better than 53/100.....so missing 4 in a row is silly to worry about....those days are guaranteed.....but knowing your shit gives you a shot at glory days like 9-2 or 8-0 or better....those are these days you gamble for. 0-4 is just a blimp and shouldn't even be mentioned......
Live & learn.

Also for Texas, let us not forget last year under pressure, the Longhorns last 2 drives, both in the red zone, to take the lead/get the win, the dynamic duo epic choke. The coach with the play calling while crouched down with his little white card (longing for a drink in the moment, just a sip), the qb with his performance/decision making. Both showed signs of cracking under pressure. Has a year changed that? Or is it ingrained? Yes Sheriff, I do believe we need the backup. #DrPepper

I went 0-2 last week & I was 3-2 the week before so no 4 in a row here
that is still poor for me with all the info I have weekly, I call a spade a spade
I’m having a great season as you know, you get all the goods weekly
get your arsenal ready for the bowls amigo, we have to be on our game for the forum, lots of people lost this season, we have to help the local economy
text me later & we will do a collab for a conf champ game other than Ducks, the entire forum will be on ducks with the exception of the faders
we have to find another one we agree on

I know what you mean when you lay off something you identify and like and it ends up being an easy winner it can be really dejecting. I went very heavy on Oregon -3.5. I thought this game would be hung at 6.5 or 7. This is my biggest bet of the year. Also like Clemson ml.
beating the mindfuk is always a challenge, especially when you make the correct bet & it loses, passing on winners, betting a bad number & losing by a hook, all of it, just part of what we do
I’ve learned over the years to not get emotional about it, 25 years ago I’d break a tv, now I hit the vape & move on to the next week haha
I think we have to constantly evolve
Ducks are your biggest bet of the year? Wow, I hope they come through for us, I just bet it standard on my end

glyde69 was correct
I don’t see many early bowl bets with maybe exception of playoff games
train & I used to hit all openers but transfer portal & opt outs have made that impossible so we are forced to lose line value unless we are willing to gamble that they have all hands on deck
this 12 team playoff should be amazing tv, I’m excited as a fan of the game & I have zero clue who will win it all, none of these teams are truly elite, even the top squads have flaws
Georgia can beat anyone on any given day but that’s a flawed team, you know?

& you’re correct about Texas, they tried to choke, they have a great defense but definitely have flaws, Ewers has turnover worthy plays every start, same as Carson beck & Will Howard, all the teams are flawed

Listening to Coach Franklin's press conf the next day and yeah they are in a rush to get ready for this one .. what was gunna be a big signing day week off and recruiting fun suddenly got ultra busy .. OL injuries this year major concern the good OL-T Donkoh being out he held up to OSU well but other guys are bigger ?'s and OREGON DL is nastayyyyy .. and offense really revolves around the one super star TE dude .. but how the heck are they unable to get Julian Flemming to work out you had 1 WR last year you get the good OC have a total awesome TE dude get the star WR and he gets 175 yds this year sitting in a backup role the last few games .. got in end of last game for a catch .. I don't get it .. Feels like Ducks can d!ck around and not cover or lose but hard to imagine they get out played here ... let's go!!!

it’s James in a big game, that’s enough for me, until he proves anyone otherwise he’s an auto fade in anything meaningful
I honestly don’t think his squad is that good, I’ve watched them twice
that team would lose 4 games in sec
I’m fading him in the playoffs as well
Let’s go

Wahoo - thanks for the insights. Wisconsin played Oregon very closely and could have won that game. Do you not think Penn St is a better version of Wisconsin? That's how I see it at least, wondering what I am missing here.

great question
I think all these teams are flawed & have had a few stinker performances, Ducks didn’t look good in Wisconsin no doubt but that’s outside at their place
this game is inside on turf & it’s for the title
if you see value in that scenario with Penn St then get it, I just don’t personally
I’ve watched Franklin choke big games his entire career & id say that coupled with Oregon being the better team
this line opened so low it surprised me, maybe I’m taking the public fave here & it’ll cost me but Franklin has to prove it to me, that’s how I feel
you’re a solid handicapper, wish you posted more like the old days

I think your point of it being inside is a massive factor here that will work big in Oregon's favor. They have wide receivers who have elite speed. Sure Ohio State does as well and Penn St shut them down but that was at State College where they probably didn't cut the grass for 3 weeks prior to the game and Gabriel is much better than Howard.

Got Tulane early and it's already up to 6! The Coach is staying and apparently so is the QB. I hope.... They should have beat Memphis but were due to put up a stinker. The Wave can ball.

Agree. I think Tulane s stinker was last game… they have impressed me this year…. Army showed they are one man team to a degree… Just saw Marshall had great record ats this year. Thoughts on that game ??

I’m thinking penn state 1h wahoo but I hope Oregon smashes them! I just think Oregon had a respectable win over Washington who’s still a good team.. and penn state won’t take them light 1h
