I'm not a chick or an idiot. I just KNOW that looking back at the last 3 years this has produced great ATS numbers.

Also, I know that last year when I followed it, it made me a lot of money and it proved to be 22-10-2.

If that makes me an iddiot...then so be it.

great thread... very interesting statistic... it kind of reminds me when I let my girlfriend fill out a bracket for me during march madness and she did better than me picking the games based on how "cute" the uniforms were

i can't believe it took until page two of this thread, on a forum that is about HANDICAPPING SPORTS, for someone to say this...


i flipped a coin 30 times and it came up heads 20 times... should i bet the house on heads with my next flip?

i mean... if for one am shocked that this isn't turning out to be a solid method for picking winners...

Thank you bookieassasin....I actually opened this thread just to see how badly it would get ripped apart, only to find out how many people took it seriously.  LOL at how many found this to be an interesting angle....sorry, but you still just can't fix stupid....

It is a thread just to see what happens. We were writing "LOL" throughout the entire thread. But the truth is, it produced winners in the past and many made money on it, when they tailed it last year at the end of the bowl season.

If you do a search under the title of this thread, the guy who came up with this was ripped for starting it, but at the end of the bowl season when he was 22-10-2. Many were not laughing anymore.

Either way, if it works or not, it is all in fun.

no!  that's the whole point... it didn't produce anything... it is an anomalous trend that has no value in predicting future results... it is one of those trends that predicts the past, but not the future... and is therefore useless...

but the scary thing is, some people will place bets based on this...

Think of it this way. A lot of good cappers on this site was on Utep & Fresno st, so they are 0-2 too...LOL

I think no one on here took this system seriously and bet it for fun.

But for some people it must be the highlight of the day or week to come in here and cry about how stupid this system is and so on - get a life !!!

To all other followers: When do we consider a uniform as dark? The UTEP orange was not DARK to me - LOL

yeah for you trivia buffs....this is called (maybe a variation of)...a post hoc fallacy ...(or long ways > post hoc ergo propter hoc).....Latin for "after this...therefore because of this".....a hallmark of most dumbazzes....the 'wives tale' a good example
     * yeah sure if just noticing this and thinking it weird...ok....but this being a WAGERING forum makes it a different matter entirely

and in a related matter...... it would be wrong to conclude that although some who use this system....are in fact a dumbazz....simply using this system ....does not mean necessarily you are a dumbazz......

Although I will say that if you did an EXHAUSTIVE study....it wouldn't surprise me if teams wearing the sharpest uniforms (in players minds) didn't come out (slightly) ahead....and most guys like the dark jerseys better i would think

there seems to be a misunderstanding regarding cause and effect... just because there is a correlation, does not mean there is causation...
