You, "on the West Coast"  didn't fare so well in the bowls this year.

Further, I've never seen such arrogance by people following a team that has 1 NC trophy.

and guys, you have to be kidding yourself if you think SC is getting a stiff penalty. I can see a ban of postseason for one year, followed by scholarship loss. Nothing more than a slap on the wrist.

I love how we're supposed to think you are some sort of objective observer.

heres the thing you dont know about me. The real people who come to covers knows I'm as objective of a fan as it gets. I despise homers.

And its my opinion. I dont think the penalties will be that stiff, or stiff enought to shut the doors at the program.

By the way, Oregon, Ore St, Cal, Arizona, Stanford all on the West Coast, losers to teams not on the west coast in bowls this year.

I am mostly agreeing with you there as I don't think Kiffin is so dumb as to walk into a situation that severe or would cripple the program that much. But, I do have to wonder why the NCAA is dragging this out for so long.

Otherwise, looking at where both programs sit right now, I do think UT is more appealing at this point in time (his pay raise aside), and would think it would be easier for Kiffin to build a winner in Knoxville over the short term.

Well, this year is certainly nothing to brag about, and neither is consistently beating Notre Dame.

The "resume" prior to 2000 isn't anything to write home about either.

Beating up weak conference teams and winning 1 NC isn't really worth the arrogance displayed.

Its a blast. Your argument is about USC playing in a shitty bowl, yet they placed top 4 in the final BCS the previous 7 years, won 6 out of 7 BCS games, but they suck according to 14daroad.

Rocktober was correct.

who brags about ND? You? I wouldnt mind it if they removed them from the schedule and replaced it with another team, preferably an SEC or Big 12 team.

Nobody beats the Trojans except for their conference, and Texas.

Listen, I can probably think of damn near 5 jobs better than USC, but Tennessee doesnt compare RIGHT NOW.

If you're going RIGHT NOW, you cant possibly think UT.

thats most people like yours problem. People take what one USC fan says and thinks it public opinion.

But he's not even bragging about beating ND. He's saying its fun. Thats true. Even you have to admit you like seeing ND lose, right?

I have the scoreboard, the real facts.

I would say you have some facts.

Here would be some others:
-Pending sanctions (if any)
- Most successful coach in this generation leaving for a crappy NFL job.
- Sub-par season 2009, sub-par bowl
- UT plays in a better conference - the conference with a championship game, better competition, the SEC gets $205 million annually in TV $ the pac 10 gets $58 million, and the last national champs.

Those would be other facts to consider.
