Mike Riley. Understandable. He loves his situation. He'll have job security for as long as he wants to be there. What he make in Corvalis is the equivalent to being better than making double in LA.
Jack Del Rio. Couldnt leave because he had 3 years $15 mil left on his contract. He couldnt leave unless he left that money. would have been dumb. if they were to fire him, he would have been the next coach at USC.
Jeff Fisher. Big time NFL coach. Nobody should feel slighted/insulted when he's turning you down, especially a college job.
Now how insulted should USC be? They were turned down by GREAT coaches.

Anyway,i went to the usc-virginia game last year in charlottesville,and i have to say the southern folks from virginia were the best people i have been around on a road trip.They were classy,hospitible,humble,and just thought we were awesome to come out 3,000 miles to see usc.I loved the country side,the college,especially the frat guys who wore white shirts with orange and blue ties and the southern women wearing sun dresses in 100 degree heat.The only complaint i had is they ran out of soft pretzels by halftime lol.I never sweated so much in my life in that humidity!!!! Anyway....i don't know anything about the vols,but virginia and the south in general was an A+ trip. I would say the arkansas folks were second and auburn was a close third.As always....the ND trip and oregon is the worst.Anyway....just wondering 
not down on UT, but when someone's saying UT is a better job than USC, than I'll have something to say about that.
i recognize a minimum of 3 programs better than USC. This isnt about me thinking USC is the best program in college. Not even. But Tennessee? Give me a break. My whole argument was justified today, with Dooley being hired.
I think Knoxville is great. Game day is probably so much better than here at USC. I have a bunch of friends who are Cal guys, and they RAVED about Knoxville when they went to see them play a couple of years ago. The people were great and friendly. The only complaint was the fans knowledge of football was limited to the SEC. My FLorida pal even admits and SEC fan thinks there's no football outside of the SEC.
So people want to say I'm being a homer and think USC is the greatest thing around. What? UT fans calling me a homer, but yet they think UT is a better program? WHo's the homer again?
I'm going to let the arguments rest. My case was proven. Good luck with Dooley and move on.

try winning with everyone else playing with 85 and 90..take a look at the big U if you want to see where your program is heading. at least it will be warm and sunny while kiffin and co are taking it in the ass.. big O already looking back in the NFL. and tons of players leaving... where are you all at now defending your cheating bullshit program.. you thought kids came to sc for the beach and not the cars and homes?
