They almost beat Georgia (who almost beat Alabama in the SEC championship game) in the second half, but their best receiver (tight end Jordan Reed) dropped a perfect pass at the goal line.
Florida came within a dropped easy pass of playing in the SEC championship last year, where they might have beat Alabama to play an over-rated Notre Dame team for the NC.
And this with an admittedly terrible offense.
