Who has Florida beat this year that's worth a damn? Even SEC people were talking about how ovverrated Bama was. And who the fuck said Bama is better then Oklahaoma? Please. They aren't better then Texas. Big 12 this year is leaps and bounds ahead of the SEC. This should be a great game and I love the fact that every idiot in the world will jump on Floridas nuts. Bobby Stoops gets his second national championship. It makes it even better that it's at the expense of the SEC

On a side note. Did anyone hear the announcers during the SEC title game talk about how Penn St should be included in the national championship discussion. Lundquist and that other dipshit are major SEC homers. They were talking about Penn St because they want another SEC team to get a cakewalk in the title game. Wouldn't want to make an SEC school actually play someone as good or maybe better then they are. Oklahoma isn't a Big 10 school. No gift national championship this year

   Name one SEC calibur defense OU has faced this year. yeah the Big 12 is full of explosive offenses and lack of overall strong defenses. all the routs in big 12 games are evidence of that. Florida is pretty balanced on both sides of the ball. And so is OU. I think this will be a good game. Hopefully not a rout like the previous 2 National championships. I wish we could have Texas vs Alabama in a bowl game. No matter of it's no losses or 2, we just can't get Ohio St out of the lime light. uh oh can already hear the buckeye fans getting riled up over that

Bradford did throw for over 400 yards and 4 TDs against the 2nd ranked total defense in TCU.  I know they don't play in the SEC or Big 12, but their D is very good.  I think OU has seen a defense as good as the Gators' however I don't think Florida has seen an offense anywhere near as good as the Sooners.

Oklahoma is a great team and so is Florida. But Oklahoma has not played a team all year with the speed the gators have. I will predict a kick return or a punt return for the Gators.

   great point. Ou does not have the best special teams. and culdntpickmyazz, i agree with you on 2 points. Tcu does have a good defense and this offense of OU will be a true test to that gator d. i think it will be a good game as i said before. i will be going with the gators and my choice is based on opinion i will choose some seriously talented speed over the other. I know quite a bit of OU fans, and their biggest concern is Stoops beating himself the way he has traditionally done in some big games.

The media has been sucking the SEC cock all season.  It is amazing how many SEC teams that were rated in the top 10 throughout the season and they all turn up as a hoax.  Why did Oklahoma end up as the #1 BCS team heading into the bowls?  It is their schedule and the number of wins against ranked teams (especially non-conference wins against TCU and Cincinnati), not to mention that they set a new NCAA record for the amount of points scored in a season.  Barry Switzer was notorious for hanging half-a-hundred on opponents - this year Oklahoma was doing it by halftime and the second string kids got to play the second half.  Florida is the only SEC that I respect - they are a good team with a good coach - but losing at home to Mississippi...

the media sucks the same cock every year. no matter what, year end year out. the preseason ranking consist of a majority of the same teams. (USC, Ohio St, etc. etc.)  i respect Bama for working there way to the top. not giving to them at start. yes they lost i know, and they murdered my boys clemson who was overrated, that gave them a big jump start in polls.

A good system for a game like this is to not cap it at all.  The line has opened at FL -3.  About 24 hours before the game starts, document the line.  Then close to kickoff, bet against the way the line moved from the day before.  The vast majority of Joes out there will bet the game within the last 24 hours of the game.  Bet against the public.  If the line doesn't move, don't bet it.  Don't make this too hard on yourself.  This has been a good system for me for the major bowls.

I love when dumbazz homers like vegas killa talk and noone listens; yea they killed Bama; they were down at the end of the 3rd qtr; if you call that killed then scoring two tds in the 4th to pull it out; that game went just like I thought Fl with just enough offense to win; now they remember they are not playing John Parker Wilson who only has one target in Jones; they are playing the most prolific offense in the HISTORY OF COLLEGE FOOTBALL; not this year the history; they put up 60 again without their 2nd best offensive player; ask Ole Miss if Fl is so unbeatable. Florida so called speed on offense looks great against Citadel and a team like Bama who has no throwing attack but they dont have that luxury against OU. Bradford is going to chew them up just like he has every game.

Here are points after reading many of the comments: Things to look at with real consideration are:
 
- OU's defense has played above-average at best all year. They given up 400 and 500 yard games on defense like it was cool this year.
 
- Florida has the best Defense OU will have faced (better than TCU's) because they have more speed in the secondary and will be able to have enough people to cover the 5 -Wide
 
- Florida will learn from their mistakes against Michigan who used a similar wide open attack against them
 
- OU's Olineman have trouble blocking athletic speedy rushers (run or pass). They have one 1st rounder on that line the rest are just overly big human beings who engulf their opponents. Florida has NFL players on their defense....I dont think I can even say that about Texas
 
- OU will have the best QB, RB, WR and TE that Fla has faced all year. Alabama has a better O-line than OU
 
-Don't base your evalution on All-league teams...the team who wins the conference and is impressive in doing so will always have alot of people on those teams
 
-Tebow will have a field day on OU's defense unless Stoops comes up with his BEST defensive gameplan of the year
 
-Bradford will get touched this game (sacked, hurried, knockdown)....how will he react to this, he hasnt been touched all year. Seriously think about it...this is one of my most important things Im going to consider in capping this game
 
- OU doesnt have a tough physical defense, Fla has shown that are tough and physical...thats a problem in a close game.
 
- Fla will own OU in the kicking game...I guarantee it. Florida will have great field posistion all game because of this.
 
I was leaning OU until I started thinking about these things and Im definately leaning the Gators now, but its hard to bet against the most prolific offense in the history of college football. You really have to be a real Gator fan/stan/homer or a hard-core gambler.

     ok, i asked ol miss. they said yes. i also asked texas about OU. they said yeah they can be beat to. stats are worhless as a comparison. neither has played any of the same teams. defenses are different, offenses are different. i know for some it seems like i am stating the obvious, but some need to hear the obvious. oh yeah and for your info, florida put up quite a bit of points on other teams besides citadel. and thats another worthless comparison, how many points someone scores on people especially when you start talking about 60's and 70's. thats running score up on people. when another team who could do it doesn't. how do you compare that.  let the comparing be done by the two of them. i know one thing, when OU went up against a tough D the likes of TCU, where was the 60 points then. or against texas. I would take Alabama's D over any D out the big 12. remembering hearing alot of the same chatter the previous 2 years out of Ohio St supporters.

The under in this game will win, usually the big game will provide an under because of all the pressure and both teams not wanting to make a mistake, playing more conservative and taking less chances. It's like this most of the time in almost every sport check the scores from the past and the teams that were playing.
