I can see line movement being a problem. While the consensus earlier in the week may have a lower spread, what if it moves say 4 points?  Only solution I see is to list the  teams with spreads listed as "UP To X "many points. Just a suggestion.

I agree a threshold point spread might be a good addition for late line movements... This Minnesota line keeps going up... how far before it becomes yoo risky?

Manifesto and all others: First time reader, great work you're all doing.
I have a pick that I personally like, and while I am no capper, wondering if it's made it way on any of the experts boards:
I am betting against UTEP. This was before I read what a miserable record their coach has in November (not that I put any stock in that info, but its comforting nonethless). Rice is a far superior team. Look for them to win big, knowing another bowl game is within reach and Tulsa has a tough game in front of them.

Softball - I don't put any weighting on the picks.   In my system a consensus pick is considered a play that 4 cappers pick with no one on the other side.   I provide the others just so you can see if there other games that multiple cappers are on.....

Oregon State can not be had @ -13 anymore.  They are -15.5 right now at Bookmaker.  I think the Beavers will still probably cover because Arizona State has pretty much quit, but all of the value has pretty much been sucked out of the line.  Odd makers are good at doing that!!! 
 
Also, TCU is -14 and I don't think that game is anywhere near a top play.  That's a ton of road chalk.  The only side I would play there is UNLV.
 
Minnesota is currently at -7.5.  Again, whatever value this line had is long gone.
 
The Mississippi State line is down to -2.  It seems as though Kentucky's entire team is injured.  It's hard to see how they can win this game.  But then again, it is Mississippi State.
 
The Texas line has dropped to 3.5.  That leaves buying a half of a point a viable option.  I've heard rumors that Texas Tech has suspended two players. I have not been able to confirm it and I don't know who might be involved.
 
The Navy line has dropped depite 78% of the public pounding them.  A few of things to consider here.  The first is that with the exception of the Penn State game, Temple has played everyone very tough this year.  The second thing is that Temple already faced a triple option team in Army and destroyed them 35-7.  Third QB Adam DiMichele showed some definite signs of rust in coming back from injury last week against Ohio.  Has he shaken the rust?  Probably.  Lastly, Navy has some injury issues primarily at QB.  Invetigating that further is imperative before laying the chalk with Navy.  If I were to play this game, my money would be on Temple @ +7 or better.

Jimmy - you raise a very good point about the line movement and I am not sure what to do about that.   Likely the cappers were on the line early and locked in their plays.    Not sure where that leaves everyone else.    Any suggestions?

I live in Houston and the UT/Tech game is huge tomorrow, but I have not heard anything on the local sports talk radio about suspensions.   I will let you know if I hear something...
