It's been Riley Cooper and Aaron Hernandez for the most part when it comes to the passing game. I like both of them but neither are game breakers by themselves.
 
Wouldn't be surprised to see some wildcat with Rainey or Demps to mix it up. Moody needs to not get nicked up like always seems to happen.
 
I don't see Tebow playing this game, especially if he can't be the Tebow we all know running the ball.

Im not worried about Florida Rushing too too much against LSU ESPECIALLY if Tebow doesnt play.  UF doesnt scare anyone in the passing game...maybe the short passing game but if UF thinks they will throw the deep ball vs the largets secondary in the nation they will lose.  Patrick Peterson is the best CB in the nation.  Top 3 atleast just because I dont know anyone off the top of my head unfortunately.  And Chad Jones is Top 2 saftety's  he and Mays from USC.
This game goes under 50.  I dont see UF scoring too much on LSU...and again LSU offense not predictable Im not sure how much those guys score either.

Well it's official , Tebow practiced today with full pads and worked out with the first team , so it looks like he will start on Saturday

With Deonte Thompson back at WR and 100% , and Tebow probable going to start, I feel the team will rally around Tebow and do everything to protect him
 
The whole team has to be excited with their leader back
 
Great news for Gator fans, it will be interesting where the line goes

they've played a bunch of cupcakes.
come on, name one real offense that they've faced this year and the funny part is lsu wont be much tougher.
but reality is only thing in favor for lsu in this game is that the game is in louisianna.
tebow will play, gators should have no problem with them.

They are defending NATIONAL Champions with a 15 game winning streak.( longest in football) Were ranked #1 preseason with the highest preseason vote ever are 4-0 allowing 7 ponts a game , scoring over 45. In the top 5 on offense and defense. Rushing for 307 yards a game WHAT MORE DO YOU WANT

Look, Tebow is not playing.  I wrote about this a few days back.  The Gators have likely one of the best defenses in the country- experience, talent, speed, style.  That will show against LSU on Saturday night and is the reason that they will win/cover.  LSU will not be able to score enough to hang with Florida.  IMO, Brantley will hold his own and has shown that he has a huge arm....Florida will run and open it up in the air.

I am not as confident as Jordyn on the spread.  I said when it was 9.5 for all  LSU backers to jump on it as it is likely to come back down when they announce officially that Tebow is out.  Well...he is OUT and it is down to 7.  I think -7 is where it should be and I really think this is a watch only game (particularly when you have alumni interest!).

Joe, I think the defense analysis is not based on who they have played this year, but that they were so good last year and they did not lose one starter on defense.  Combine that with added depth and one more year of playing, and there is no doubt that the are one of the top 5 in the country this year.  With such a small number of games played, stats in general are really difficult to take hold of....it will all pan out for the rest of the year.  Bottom line is they dont give up points, and i do not see LSU scoring much at all.  Maybe 13-20 at most.

With all you just said, do you feel its necessary to tell us how good Florida is? I dont understand why people make posts about the best team in the country. We all know they are the best! Thats why they won 2 out of the last 3 championships.

Tell us something we dont know already. The REAL Gator fans on this site dont feel the need to remind us. You and Capri are so similar.

I disagree about not starting tebow because meyer does not like to play untested underclassmen in big games
 
When tebow was a freshman I felt he was much better than leak, but Meyer would only use him sparingly. He helped win big games against LSU and tenn but still Meyer stuck with Leak as the starter. In fact he changed his whole spread-option offense to suit leak
 
This year in the first 2 cupcake games he put in some young wide receivers who played great after the game was out of reach, but even when he needed a WR against Tenn and KY he wouldn't put the young guys in
 
That is why ,unless the Dr told him not to play tebow, TEBOW will start.That is my opinion and Im sticking to it

Jordyn, it is not your opinion man....Tebow is not playing....PERIOD.  He practiced a little today and will not be available game time.  This is a betting site, not a trash talking site.  I am as big of a Gator fan as there is and agree completely with WestCoast...

Here is what you need to know guys....Brantley is not unproven...he has had a little playing time and has a rocket arm and poise.  Gators will establish the run to take pressure off of him to start and let the defense control the game.  Meyer will let Brantley sling it around downfield, which is something that Tim does not do a lot.  the loss of Tebow in this game does not change the outcome (it does effect the game and game plan however) in my opinion.

#8 Georgia  W 49-10
#24 S Carolina W56-6

#2Alabama W 31-20 (SEC Championship)
#2 Okla  W 24-14  (BCS Championship game)
 
They also played Miami Fl and Ole Miss who beat texas Tech in a bowl game. Both of these teams weren't ranked when the gators played them
 
Boise st played 2 and went 1-1 lost to TCU 17-16 in the Poinsettia Bowl

Reading some of this stuff is funny. Yesterday Tebow did dress, but had a hard time walking up a flight of stairs. I know this because I know someone that was on the field. He never took a hit and he never did anything strenous. He is not cleared to play. He was cleared to participate in practice with no hitting or stress period. He cannot engage in any physical activity till he is cleared by the doctors at Lloyds  of London which hold the 10 million dollar policy on him that his parents took out. Last time Tebow ventured into Baton Rouge it wasn't a good outcome for him. As he stated after that loss to LSU, " Baton Rouge without a doubt is the loudest, and has the nastiest crowd in college football by far". That was his words. Will he play. NO WAY. Will he dress, probably. There is no way that they will put the rest of his life in danger by taking another huge hit so soon in a game where they will be multiple hard hits and blitzing all night by the LSU defense. Don't worry Gator fans, I think at least LSU will show up. LOL,LOL Thats why these 18,19, and 20 year olds line up and play. We forget they are just kids. Don't know how it's gonna turn out, but I look for a hard hitting, fast paced game saturday night in Baton Rouge. Good luck to all.

Let's forget about Tebow for a moment, Brantley is a big time talent
 
When the Gators hold teams under 100 yards rushing, under Meyer,  they are 33-1. If the Gators can come anywhere near their ave of 307 yards rushing and hold LSU under 100 it won't matter who QB the gators. This game will be decided in the trenches!
 
The main thing LSU has going for them is the home field at night
 
I feel at this time Brantley will start and if things are going well Tebow may not play.Even if he is cleared to play it is too soon after the concussion to risk an injury that could effect his future
 
This game should attract almost as many viewers as Monday night when Favre played against the Packers
 
It should be a game worth seeing no matter who wins. This is what makes sports so great.Remember the last 3 National champs are LSU and Florida !!

That was last year...did you watch that TN game?Tn sucks ass and almost beat them with no QB....your such a mark..I bet your book gets a boner when your number comes up on caller id.

I have talked about the Tennessee game before. It was 23-6 and the gators scored 5 of the first 6 times they had the bal(3 FG and 2 TD) they were on the tenn 8 and tebow ran for a first down and fumbled at the 2. Tenn ran it back 35 yards got a taunting call and went in to score. So instead of 30-6 it became 23-13 The game wasn't anywhere near as close as the score indicates

Didn't realize Tennessee put 13 points on the board. Tennessee's offense is horrible. I do believe LSU can put at least 20 on the board.  The Brantley issue is a good one. Yes he is a talented QB that has gotten some reps. BUT has he ever faced what he will on Saturday night? The answer to that is NO. Similar to what Mark Sanchez faced in the Dome on Sunday, and we all saw what happened to the rookie. Look Florida has played absolutley nobody. Lsu went on the road beat what looks like a better then average Washington team, went on the road to Geogia and won that won. Has Meyer ever won in Baton Rouge? Not sure. Everything points to a really good SEC match up and I do believe it will be exactly that with whoever turns the ball over late in the game goes down. Field goal wins this one late. Just don't know who !!! I got 9.5 and I feel pretty good about it.

This is a great game with 2 of the best teams in college football, on National TV
 
Brantley has played about 1/3 of the time , in 3 games. If he threw a few more passes( he is 22-30 with 4 TD) his 182 rating would lead the country( Tebow is #3 at 170. So yes this is a very tough first start for John, but they have had 2 weeks to prepare him
 
I don't understand some of the hostility on this great site. We are here to exchange information and to make money, yet some cappers come up with such hate postings that I just don't understand.We are all in this together to help each other and win money

jordyn31, you are right, its not about who wins or loses its all about the spread. Me personally just thinks 9.5 was a little to high. I see 7.5 and 8's today. Also think it will be low scoring to. If you've never been to Baton Rouge you just can't understand what it's like there on a saturday night !!! Good luck to you and the Gators.

Tebow will be playing, and the difference he brings from Brantley is not only the experience but Tebow helps the Gators running game tremendously...teams can't just stack the box against us because Tebow can beat you with his arm as much as people like to say he can't throw the ball look at his TD to INT ratio for his career.

From what I see out of gainessville, it is looking like it maybe a game time decision on Tebow
 
Lets forget about which QB plays let's look at the defense. In the last 3 games the Gators are allowing less than 100 yards a game running and less than 100 a game passing. LSU does not have a dynamic offense. So unless they get great field position on TO, it is hard for me to imagine that  they score more than 10-13 in this game
 
A good play maybe the under 471/2. Most books don't have an O/U line.
 
I see gators winning 31-10
