GucciCapper loves the month of November especially when teams from the south have to travel up north to play in the cold. This is exactly the situation we have tonight with the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs making their way up to West Virginia to play Marshall. GucciCapper backed Marshall way back in September against Boise, and now GucciCapper is going to back them again tonight at home.
But GucciCapper, the line moved to -6.5. Aren't you a bit worried that you didn't get the best number? Not at all. Just like the Bears last week in the NFL, GucciCapper is very confident that the line movement will not make a difference. Lay the points for the following reasons.
1) This game is a MUST WIN for Marshall if they want to play in the Conference USA Championship game. With a win here, they own the tie breaker against Florida Atlantic in the East division. With four straight wins, Marshall has been playing lights out and GucciCapper expects that to continue tonight. On the other side, Louisiana Tech can afford to lose this game and still play in the Conference Championship game.
2) Suspensions. Starting QB, great WR and linebacker all suspended for this game. Marshall's defense will be able to stack the box and force this freshman QB to make multiple mistakes. This game will be nationally televised on CBS Sports so expect some MAJOR butterflies for this freshman QB. GucciCapper doesn't see how the Bulldogs can overcome these key suspensions in a big match up on Friday night.
3) Cold weather vs. warm weather teams. GucciCapper loves the months of November and December because temperature plays a big role. These boys from the south don't like the cold and GucciCapper expects them to be ICE COLD on offense tonight. Marshall home crowd should be ROCKING tonight. Expect these boys from the south to FREEZE up tonight.
4) Louisiana Tech is due for a loss. Since losing to Texas in week #1, this team has won 8 straight games. If you look at who the Bulldogs have played though, it isn't shocking to see why they are 8-1. Marshall has played much tougher competition this year, and GucciCapper is quite confident that they will prevail tonight.
So lay the 6 or 6.5 points and celebrate with GucciCapper after the game. Best of luck boys. This game has blowout written all over it.
-6.5 Marshall to the bank.

Quite a relaxing 2nd half for Marshall. GucciCapper will be quite curious what the spread will be when these two teams meet again for the Conference Championship. Nonetheless, GucciCapper is about to start early today and enjoy some korean bbq with copious amounts of beer.
Thanks for all the support boys.
Until next time.
