NC State +2.5 Kentucky

Having Kentucky in a bowl game is no different from putting ketchup on a hot fudge Sunday.  Basically, WTF.  Kentucky is 4-6 and ranked 58 in the country.  NC State is 8-3 and ranked 34 and is getting points in this game??  WTF???

Kentucky has not beaten a winning team this year.  Three of their wins were against train wrecks (South Carolina, Vandy and Tennessee).  I’m not buying it.  These guys suck.  Their 6 losses were by an average 20 points.  They can’t throw the ball at all, limiting themselves to 124 yards per game this season.

The Wolfpack, on the other hand, have won 4 games in a row, with one of those wins over Liberty – yes THAT Liberty team.  They are averaging 31 points per game.  So call me a sucker…and all that crap about something smells fishy in the Gator Bowl with this confusing line.  I am going with the Wolfpack. 

Mississippi/Indiana OVER 66.5

Poor Ole Siss.  All Lane Kiffin care about is scoring points and he will be showing off his offense in the Outback Bowl.  They should call this one the Outhouse Bowl because it is going to make a complete mockery of college football.  Kiffin doesn’t even want to play defense because he wants to get the ball back as fast as possible so he can play more offense.  Ole Siss is averaging 41 points per game but their defense is giving up 40 points per game.  Their games have gone over 66 points in 6 of their 9 games.  That’s a nice total when playing the OVER.

Indiana has shown that they like to score also, notching over 35 points per game in 4 of their 7 contests.  Mississippi’s defense is going to make their backup QB look like Justin Fields.   The Ole Siss non-defense ranks dead last in the country by allowing 535.7 yards per game.  They are 127 against the pass and 104 in the country against the run.  Indiana will be able to pick whatever works. 

This is going to be a sloppy game…probably something like 28-20 at halftime.   Indiana is going to win it easily, because Ole Siss will continue to let them score.  The total will be eclipsed by the 3 quarter and fortunately we’ll be able to turn it off and watch the NC State beat Kentucky.   Playing the total OVER.

Pac 12 champs look like shit....oregon gets mugged 6-7 for the week

Moolah play takes the Texas A&M game OVER.....7-7 on the week 79-86 YTD ATS 48%.  That's it for me for the year.  Very disappointing season but nonetheless fun....there was a time when we thought there might not be any college football at all.  Happy New Year.  Stay safe.  Maybe I'll be back in the spring if we have football then!
