Defense is rock solid..Game at Oklahoma was their D period..

Should have lost to Pitt.  Could have lost to Stanford.  Not really impressed.  Freshman qb will not cut it against SEC team.  Running game and Manti Teo will not be enough IMO so better if they lose to USC and let SEC and whoever settle this.

why isnt anybody talking about this?  people talk about SEC bias, but you look at ND schedule, especially recently...they played like crap vs BC, they had a BS phantom call vs Stanford, & they had to take Pitt @ home to 3 OTS and only bc Pitts  kicker cant make a short FG to win the game, this overrated team that is given special priviledges is sitting in the driver seat to get ROLLED by bama

May be mistaken but I think ND SOS is better than the tides. Sorry to burst your bubble. Also ND plays rivalry games all year. Purdue, BC, Navy, Mich, MSU, USC all rivalry games. Good arguement though.............Sorry ND doesn't play powerhouse sun belt conference teams like Bama and the rest of the SEC. Oh and FCS schools which ND neva plays.

HookEM...c'mon man...look at the bias treatment here: ND gets to handpick their own schedule, they are not in a conference, so no weekly conference rivalaries; and  further more they are not required to play in a Conference title game.

its not a hard concept.  OAK should have lost to WV yesterday, hell they let WVU put up around 50 points.  the entire Big 10 is really bad (except OSU), but that has been the norm for how long??? so they beat Stanford, and now they get to play a USC team with no Barkley??? what makes them so special that they can hand pick all their cupcakes for most of the season.  Hell they should have lost to PITT in triple OT and Stanford got hosed on a call vs ND late in 4th.

They dont have a prayer against Bama, and even more, i am not so sure they can keep it close to UGA, or LSU, or SC, or FLA with or without a healthy QB.  Hell, IF Barkely was healthy, i dont thin they could win vs USC.

Coming into the season Notre Dame was considered by many to have the toughest schedule in the country.  That the Big 10, ACC & Big Least turned out to be abysmal is not really Notre Dame's fault.  Notre Dame has played about 4 or 5 respectable teams, but nothing comparable to a SEC schedule.  Notre Dame would be a 3 or 4 loss team in the SEC.

Everyone bashing ND for winning some close games. Bama lost to Texas A&M...the same Texas A&M team that gave up 57 points to Louisiana Tech!!!

ND is the real deal. Solid defense and a run game can take u a long way. Can u guys imagine if Uga ends up in the national title game? I guess if they beat bama, but still. No way are they in the top 2.

Theyll destroy usc this weekend. There won't be a repeat of last weekend usc has no heart, is poorly coached, no defense. The complete opposite of notre dame. I don't even think the sharps see value in usc in this spot i know i sure don't.
