The big thing is if Iowa State can stop the run. They have some really soft linebackers which Iowa exposed. Texas probably should be able to run on them pretty well.

The QB situation is a nightmare for Texas. You have to have a definite starter by now. For this reason I may take Iowa State. Not sure yet.

I like the UNDER here. McCoy never moved the ball on anyone in any game he has started. 

I think these teams and defenses are just good enough to bend but dont break.  

Game goes under. Iowa St could pull the upset too.

 It really concerns me that Texas gave up 40 to BYU and 44 to Ole Miss when Ole Miss only scored 31 against SE Missouri St.  Iowa State lost a tough game to Iowa and lost to FCS UNI but UNI is a really good FCS team.  They just beat McNeese St. by 35 and they had been blowing everyone out, including USF.  I am leaning Iowa State here honestly,  teasing it to +13.5 seems like a sure bet.

Texas wins this game by 2 plus TD's...Mack is on his way out, but I think these guys will bust tail. 

We lose to OU, by 20+ (or maybe more), but I think we will still win some games this year.   

Its not that I think Texas is that good, I just think Iowa St is that bad.  Thur night on TV is not going to help them much...

I like Texas here too.  

ISU is awful, they really are. And ya they knocked off OSU at home, but really OSU had the game in hand but forgot that halftime wasn't the end of the game. It had been a long and emotional day for them and when it looked like the game was in hand everyone just kind of turned out the lights early, and it cost them. Regardless though, that game was 2 years ago and they aren't anything close to that ISU team.

Texas just has a lot more talent that ISU, and as you said they were playing for Mack's job against KSU. I expect that to continue. Mostly because I don't see how losing to ISU would be any better than losing to KSU.  IMO with DeLoss out these are the game Mack HAS to win to have any shot at keeping his job for next year. I also think they will want to build momentum heading into the Red River Rivalry. A loss here, and a loss next week would finish off their season.

I don't recommend picking against a home team under the lights on a Thursday, but feet to the fire, I would pick Texas.  But good luck to ya, if you win we will look like fools, and you will look like a genius!

If you want me to elaborate on what meant I meant just ask. What does games 7 years ago have to do with anything. The players leave after 4 years or earlier. That stadium in Ames stays rocking for a big game no matter how many years its been. Next time you want to disect my post, and understand the meaning ask me.
