Kansas vs Coastal Carolina

I am in Myrtle Beach this week. High performance Mustangs at the beach event. I am going to the Coastal game tonight. Coastal is loaded with 20 of 22 starters returning from an 11-1 2020 season. I expect CCU to cover. I will probably play Coastal -7 for 1st quarter and Coastal -16 for 1st half. If the game is decided before end of 3rd quarter CCU may start mass substitutions.

Making deductions from previous games has never worked for me (who am I?) Nobody.

Coastal Carolina should obliterate Kansas. 

Kansas is and has been so bad for so long.

I think they're still paying Weiss.

Coastal Carolina has the kind of explosive offense to take care of the "OVER" on its own."OVER" 1st half, or "OVER" or the game don't matter. Coastal will not play chess with you, they will run on first down, or throw 40 yards on first down, unless your defense has very good blitz packages to rush QB and move him off his mark {which Kansas don't have) Kansas will be in for a long day.

There are a couple of things to like about Kansas. Most of the same players back, for both teams, familiarity with each other, Kansas losing by 15 to this same CC team last season. But they actually outscored CC in the 2nd half 20-10 and outgained them in yards and had more 1st downs. Unfortunately they had 3 TOs while CC had none. Biggest difference this season is the new coach Lance Leipold and QB transfer Jason Bean, a dual threat who can improvise and turn nothing into something. They also expect to have their best RB tonight, Amauri Pesek Hickson. Kansas O line is learning a new system, they struggled last game, it takes time but every game is a learning experience and by years end, under Leipold's tutelage, this will be an improved unit and team. 

Kansas should have sum confidence tonight, they're actually coming off a win, not a typo, and playing a team they hung tuff with last year and even outplayed the 2nd half. No pressure either, it's all on CC, who was a cash cow last season. I told my brother after week 3 they were the 2nd best team in the Carolinas, and they were. But it is Friday night college football, strange things happen on Friday nights, not saying it will tonight but 27 is alot to lay when you add everything up. GL!

CC is just too fun to watch. No way could I watch this game and bet on them to do bad. If nothing else, root for the over! CC could get the over by themselves... I hope!

I'm watching the betting pattern this afternoon before I make any decision, tuff to go against a team who was so good to me last year but it's probably Kansas or nothing, especially if I can get +28 at -120 or better, I'll consider it.

I believe you are right or maybe not...It can be an art or just luck...It can be what ever you want to believe it is. For me I read a ton of post here then I make my decision about what to play. Has any value arguing about if it is a model or what ever it is ?...For me not. I am having fun, winning some money. As long this is happening I will be here.

 I only read it 4 different times in 5 mins.  Just wanting to verify it is in fact an art and not a science.  You would think it was a science as science is ever changing, but what the hell do I know.
