wtf are you even trying to say???..looks like a whole lot of words with no actual constructive meaning or point..as far as i can tell, all you are saying is "guys, theres heaps of stuff that we dont know and many variables and intangibles"..like,no shi.t??!!??..so you think that means that all the knowable stuff and the numbers should just be thrown into the trash can??or dont bet/handicap at all??...man,you seem like the type of dude who just loves the sound of his own voice and just spews word salad without ever contributing anything worthwhile at all.

All I have to say to you is if you don’t like how i handicap move onto the next poster in this forum.I didn’t need to hear your banter.I know how I get the edge against the books.I’m a very solid handicapper I promise you that.you tried to post 2 plays in here and the first 1 lost and if boise st covers you will go 0-2.maybe you need to find yourself a good set of power ratings so you can beat the book too.just a thought

I’m liking San Diego st and maybe South Carolina but I hate to play very public picks.people are over reacting to Washington losing to a fcs school but I think they were looking forward to this Michigan game

So out of curiosity how do you think the books come up with their numbers, I mean the early numbers the first books that come out with numbers? Pull it out their AS@ES?? How about I let you in on a little secret. I'm an accountant, specialized as a Forensic Accountant for 6+ years and the firm I worked for we specialized in high end marital dissolutions (divorce) mostly in Northern California and some in Nevada. Guess where my story is going?? Turns out one of our clients was a computer scientist who built a Program or you could call it a model, yes a MODEL for capping college football games (after a couple years he started applying it to the NFL as well) and it turns out his model was pretty damn good because he was pretty damn smart, good at what he did, happened to love football and gambling and lived in Nevada. Anyway I got to input his tax returns for 10 years (late 90's - early 2000's, not to mention sit in with many interviews with him since he was getting divorced and my partner (I was a manager) was representing him. Over 10 years he had 1 losing season. Every other year he made between $600K - $1M from betting football using his model. I was involved in this around 2009. So on top of the fact that people can and do build programs/models that work in capping football, his worked so well he was contacted by one of the largest off shore sportsbooks that everyone would know by name and asked to help set/adjust their early lines. So to prove my point and the OP and other posters points, Models and programs are how lines have been getting set for years.
Point of the story, in the simplest terms, you don't know what the FUK you are talking about!!! Also why are you coming into someone else's thread, who is potentially more than a casual gambler, who wasn't boasting but just sharing information with the rest of us and then starting sheit and acting like an as@hole?? You are the type of person that has ruined this place over the last 10 years and chased off good people. You don't like his thread, move on. Or ask him a real question about his model/system/points rating and maybe you will learn something!!!

Agreed and great call! Your "numbers" were on point even if you got them from the Almanac in Back to the Future.
