@anal_yzer Are you a journalist or something? You write more than any poster I've known, and have been around this site for quite a while.
LOL. No just married for 37 years, and she's not interested (much) anymore. I live in Minnesota, so in the winter, other than ice fishing, there isn't a whole lot of entertainment.
I have been grading a bowl contest at Major Wager for the past 13 years or so, so I'm on here alot during the college bowl season. I've probably watched 90% of the bowl games during that span. I've seen a lot of football good, bad, and ugly. I have a pretty good memory regarding alot of college games. I just haven't posted much on Covers, but I read a lot of the posts.
FYI< barring more lightning, it appears they are going to restart the game at 6:30 CST.

IN 2018 The Huskers first game of the season against Akron was cancelled for lightning. Scott Frost has suggested that his career at Neb might have gone completely different if not for that cancellation. Nebraska opened that season with 6 straight losses, many of them one score losses. It was much the same under Frosts career at Nebraska, highlighted by 9, single digit losses in 2021. Everything sort of snowballed in a negative direction under Frost from game 1, or perhaps I should say game 2, because game one never happened. Frost had said in a press conference, that had they played Akron that first week, they would have worked the kinks out, and gained alot of confidence before playing CU the next week. That might have been just enough to avoid a few mistakes, and beat CU, who they lost to 33-28. Frost thinks things would have gone much differently if not for that electrical storm. Well, perhaps, but he did lose to Troy week three, so I'm not sure I buy that. He just said when the losses started mounting, he lost some of the veterans on the team, and had they won the first one against Akron, then those same players may have believed in him. Well, maybe he shouldn't have drank so much.

@anal_yzer Love northern MN and their ice fishing! Nothing like the north woods!!!!!!!!!
I've been going to the boundary waters canoe area wilderness, on the canadian border, every year, for the past 52 years. I love it up there. I may head north in a couple days to Upper Red lake or Lake of the Woods to chase some walleyes thru the ice.
