No small wonder.....you boys can't win any $$..........

How long did you figure he was gonna break down (practically) every game played?

WHY....would he so patiently...... answer EVERY single stewpid question posed?
  *he's just a GREAT guy?....he may be I have no idea

SO.......he WAS a great guy./ very knowledgeable handicapper....now he wants to get paid a (little) for a LOT of work....and he's just a BAD guy / stupid tout?.............



Selling picks / analysis?.....
  *SIMPLE - it makes up for the losing weeks.....you sell enough info .....theoretically you NEVER lose

AND.....he should  TURN DOWN money....and stay here....
  *because you lazy fukkers can't do your own work....and are ENTITLED to PROFIT......off HIS WORK.....say what?......

I stand by my stance once you go off to sell your picks, it shows you do not have confidence enough that your picks will make you money betting them. Any great handicapper and disciplined bettor has no problem making great money wagering on sports, without the hassles of running a sports service. The only other reason do it is pure ego.

Nah. If you can make money with your picks without actually wager a dime....youre doing pretty good.

The hustle of running a sports service is harder than gambling to me. Good freaking luck to him and his followers though. Heck of a lot easier to "manage" your taxes as a bettor than a business owner.

Can't even lie, had to make the purchase. Not so much for his selections but for the in depth analysis he provides on these games that help me pull the trigger on games I like. Had some extra $ laying around in the PayPal, why not support someone living the dream like I hope to one day. Looking forward to reading..

In his FAQ he says he's done posting here, so yea we gotta pay. But I think it's worth it if he hits ~70%

I, for one, have the utmost respect for Megalocks.  But, I will not be paying for his picks.  He has established a crack staff of researchers, John Cocktoastin and Hot Carl to name only two.  Yet, I enjoy capping college football (and college basketball) and am not at all adverse to putting in the hard work to find the winners.  If Mega can get paid for his hard work, all the better and good luck to him. 

What would really be a novel idea on here would be someone who would teach most of you "how to fish," instead of just catching a fish for you.  I estimate it cost me about $5000 over a period of about 5 years until I truly figured out what I was doing. 
Rhetorically, should I just give that back and show you how to do it for free?  Or should I expect to get paid for the knowledge I have developed and could impart to a willing protégé?

Think about that for a little while

Good luck to him, Mega was a huge (and entertaining, and never once let the haters get to him) asset to this site. I might check his site out.

Power to megalocks to turn tout, at least he is really a good capper, but I will never pay for sports picks. What I liked about megalocks was he didn't make many picks, he had a lot of discipline. Every tout I know of makes waaaay too many picks. The touts are pressured to provide their customers with lots of picks, so guess what happens......

This.  Pay for the analysis-- the picks are just a bonus.

baffling to me how guys say"i will NEVER pay for picks...no way no how".....isnt the exact reason that you wud not pay the fact that all these guys do is lose so theres no point in forking over more money on top of losing bets as well???...okay,that stands to reason and is well established.....but here you got a dude that everyone freely admits has been a consistent winner over a large sample size and is better at wat he's doing than almost all of us here.
so now,wat gives??why wud you stand by your REFUSAL to pay for sumthing that sumone may be able to help you with??....confusing.

of course there are no guarantees,thats just basic common sense..any gambler can go belly up in any given season......but playing the odds theres a decent chance he cud help your average joe,which describes 90% of us.

I'm surprised by this but MEGA is literally one of my all time favorite members here, just a cool dude and definitely a winner, I'll prob just pay the super small fee just to laugh at his writeups, I mean fk, I throw 150 out the window to homeless people weekly, least I can do is give it to MEGA if he needs it

you never know someone's personal lives when posting on a forum like this, maybe the guy has a family and is trying to improve his situation, who knows, I've always been against touts but that is the traditional touts so to speak, not a dude like MEGA, I like him so much that I'll support this decision if it's truly what's happening

Just a lot more pressure and expectation that come with the territory of being a tout where people are now paying for picks, expecting winners and expecting to be compensated for their investment. Have seen so many folks (who post winners at forums) start loosing once they become tout... probably the vast majority. Call it the tout curse if you want. Hope it doesn't happen to Mega. He comes across as a genuine good dude.. one of the few.

Fair enough. If you have a big enough bankroll I can see the analysis of Megalocks worth the price. He is proven his worth as a damned good capper. However I still like to get my analysis for free. I know where to look and how to look. Covers has some damned good cappers, even with Megalocks turned tout. But my favorite source is across the street, a guy named buzzkill who you can find over yonder in the rubber room on the RX forum puts out all the best tout magazines for free. Buzzkill even tracks the record of Phil Steele and others so you can separate the BS from the good info. I want my touts for free, I want my touts to make just a handful of picks each week, and I want them to provide loads of information as to why they picked who they picked. Most importantly I want a third party keeping track of how well they are doing. 


Be there or be square. Oh, and a giant shout out for one Bookie Assassin,  he's the MAN.

yeah, I'm thinking his stuff will get posted here every week which will kind of defeat the purpose of charging anyhow, about a zero percent chance that the masses won't know what he's on each week, will be interesting to see how that plays out, I wish him well regardless, I will miss his 100,000 view threads, he was much more low key until last two years then it just blew up from those nice runs
