I don’t like making my own thread because I don’t know anyone in the forum yet and i know since i am not a veteran of the forum i am pretty sure i won't get any responses but hey i gotta start some where. I have been sports gambling for over 10 years and I will NEVER consider myself a “pro capper.” I think I am pretty good about 60 to 65 percent and do this for fun and extra money. I am not here to make people follow my picks. I hate that kind of pressure but if I lean a certain way or post something that would make you lean a certain way I am glad I could help. If I come across as rude or cocky I would like to apologize but aren’t we all a little arrogant when it comes to sports? That’s what we do is smack talk about sports to each other right. Well I will end this with I am here for entertainment and to kill some free time on the best forum I could find online, not to take over the forum at all. I’m just trying to fit in with you guys.
All 4 of my bets are on this game Saturday with 3 on Alternate pointspreads
LSU +7.5 –182 LSU +7 –167 LSU +6 –141
Plus the LSU ML +175
My prediction LSU 23 – Alabama 17
So who's with me on LSU and if you feel like posting? Type your reason why your on LSU? Curious to see how many covers posters are on LSU. Seems to me that Bama is the overwhelming favorite on covers?
Got the alternative pointspread for tonight's game also USC -17 at -204
I would like to finish this intro with me extending a handshake to all in the forum.

take the over if you wanna make some of your money back
You are from West Virginia right. You must have seen your mountaineers and Geno Smith throw for over 400+ yards and that influenced your pick. LSU Tigers have had the tougher schedule up to this point. LSU has already knocked off the Oregon, Mississippi State, West Virginia, Florida, and Auburn this season. All the Bama backers seem to point to Geno Smith throwing for over 400+ yards on LSU. He was a mobile QB who extended plays and moved outside the pocket. LSU had to focus on Geno Smith running and him passing over the top. AJ is not a mobile QB at all and is a statue QB that stays in the pocket. LSU will not have to worry about AJ running around. So that game that LSU gave up a lot of passing yards vs. a big east team will mean nothing in this game.
Alabama has had a pretty easy schedule up to this point compared to LSU. Which is why I like LSU in this one. I know LSU is capable and ready for this game but is Bama? I was leaning Bama, Bama, Bama but then I thought wait… am I willing to bet on a team and QB that hasn’t even been tested yet? I looked at the numbers and on paper the teams are close to even but then I looked at the competition and that’s where the teams separate themselves from each other. There are way too many unknowns for me to bet on Bama. Especially at the QB position, when has Bama’s QB has ever played under this type of pressure and spotlight before. And LSU’s tandem has played under the lights many times before.

BronxBambino17 just buy up and get it for 6 if it makes you more comfortable with betting your money. That’s why I love betting alternative pointspreads.
Hintonbears yeah I think the line is high because it gains action on both sides. Some people look at LSU and think like me that’s a lot of points to give to a team as good as this and others see Alabama at –4 or 5 as easy money. Some people look at Alabama –4 or –5 and think Alabama at home must be a win automatically based on hype and reputation.
Greg McElroy, Mark Ingram, Julio Jones will not be able to save Alabama this year and they will not be coming out of that tunnel. If I was betting against those 3 players I would feel a little more concerned but they will not be on the field. A.J. McCarron, Trent Richardson, Marquis Maze will not be able to fill those shoes on Saturday night. Last year Bama had Mark Ingram and LSU was able to slow him down and Ingram too me is better than, Richardson is. Maze is trying to fill Julio Jones’s shoes and he will not be able to do it. I feel that Bama will try to run the ball 30+ times and try to keep the ball out of it’s inexperienced unproven QB’s hands and LSU will take advantage of that. That plays right into LSU hands and they will capitalize on Bama being one-dimensional on offense.
All it takes is one pick/sack fumble by A.J and he will break down and LSU will pounce all over Bama. The tigers are licking their chops right now knowing AJ has never been in this spot and has never seen a defense with this kind of agility, ability, size, speed and strength. There is nothing that Bama can do to this team that LSU has never seen against them before. LSU’s Average yards Per Rush vs. Alabama’s D was 5.0 last year and LSU’s Average Per Pass Play vs. Alabama’s D last year was 10.4. LSU’s mad hatter has been building this team over the years for exactly this kind of game. I believe this is LSU’s time and this is their year to be in the national title game.

you'd better be hitting at 65% laying juice like this
Mostly 60 percent. I can hit 61+ percent on a really good day. I bet a lot of alternate pointspreads and eat a lot of chalk. Favs have been really good this year at covering. 200 bucks a bet actually pays pretty good.

Home field advantage and man Lsu quartback sucks....I'd take Alabama easy and I despise them...
If u hit 65% then y r u on the forum
CMoneyI'm including Alternate spreads, Super teasers, Teasers, Parlays and Str8 bets. Betting favs and buying up and buying down on bets. I just come on the forum to chat with other sports fans and i like to read about sports and talk sports.
LSU is 7-1 against Alabama on the road. The duo of Lee and Jefferson is going to be a nightmare to contain for Bama. These two QB’s are ready for this moment and the mad hatter has been preparing them for exactly this type of game. I trust both of these QB’s to make good decisions with the ball in key situations. Jordan Jefferson was 10/13 for 141 yards and 1 passing touchdown vs. Alabama last season and Jarrett Lee was 4/7 and had 67 yards passing. I believe these two QB’s are even better than last year and more prepared. LSU has two starting QB’s right now and I believe both are going to get it done on Saturday night. The Tigers are going use a trio of ground and pound, sophomore backs, Ware, Michael Ford and Alfred Blue, all 3 of these beasts can drag tacklers when they lower their shoulders.
They will most likely avoid the tackles of the crimson tide, and will be aiming to soften the interior of the front seven a little in order to help make Lee more effective on play-action. When Lee drops back to throw, he’ll be looking in the direction of WR Reuben Randle, LSU’s playmaker through the first eight games. Lee could get a couple of good looks on underneath routes to TE DeAngelo Peterson, if Randle and Shepard open up the field. The mad hatter having had a bye will have a few tricks underneath his mad hat and create some special packages for Jordan Jefferson. Which is why I like this bet even more every time I think about it. Stopping one QB is hard but having to prepare for 2 playing at a high level is even harder. If i am wrong i will come on here and man up. I'm just giving my thoughts on the game looking for some peaceful debate and discussion.

If I play the side on this game, I'm on LSU+. Their QB "controversy" is scary though in this game.
I don't really think there is much of a controversy covers brother I saw someone post that and i thought i would use it. Man i hope i don't come across like that jayhead. He is new to covers like me and people are killing him. I like it here and i just want to get along with everyone on here. I have been searching for a good forum and all the other forums i looked at were dead. I just looked at the bets i posted and it does seem like a lot of money to bet but i only bet 200 bucks. I rarely bet more than that.
I keep hearing how great the Bama line is on tv. I know Bama has a good defensive line but LSU defensive line is “also as one of the best in the nation,” going against an inexperienced big game QB. The mad hatter as usual wants his players to embrace the big-game spotlight. He said “he doesn't want the Tigers coaching or playing like normal for this game”. I believe the mad hatter is going to have his players ready and will do absolutely whatever it takes to win this game.
I like how coach miles thinks and coaches outside the box and I am sure many in this forum will think I am thinking way outside the box on this game. I expect Coach Nick Saban will play down this game and try to make it as just another game. Which is why I don’t want my money on him and his team in this spot. He will most likely elect to ride his beast horse and force-feed Richardson from the start, and if he does that, I feel that LSU wins this game outright because that’s exactly what LSU wants in this game. Can't wait till tomorrow. Whether i win or lose i am looking forward to a really good football game with tons of excitement and emotion.

AJ, and Trent, and all of our receivers are doing far better than our team was offensively this time, so don't look into that...
We are MUCH improved from last season, and mainly our defense is... This is the same defense that played LSU last season, and they are still on the field from that loss. There is nothing LSU can throw at them that they haven't seen for the most part.
Also, we are amazing at stopping the run, and not selling out on it to do so... That is how a 3-4 defense under Saban is... We will stop the run with ease in this game, as we have all season. LSU isn't that great at running the ball regardless... Because of this I see LSU going one dimensional, and when you add that in with the crowd noise, and pressure of playing at BD stadium, you have a bad spot for LSU.
As for the offense, although AJ hasn't been in a game of this magnitude, he has given no reason this season on the road at Penn st, and at Florida, to be concerned. He will manage this game well, as he has all season, and there will be perfect balance with his passing, and Trent running it down LSU's throat.
Bama 31 - 10

Aj is also doing far better than Gmac was, and our recievers are in a better spot, because the QB doesn't have a main target he likes to go to, and that is getting double covered all the time. He now has a plethora of receivers, and TE's... Also, Saban has proven several times this season, that when the run isn't working we will pass. That has happened several times this season... In the Tennessee game for instance, we came out in the second half, and didn't run the ball once in our opening drive, and drove down the field and scored.

Aj threw a pick last week against Tennessee, it never got to him, and he came back, and had the best game of his career. IF he throws a pick, and that is a BIG IF, he will overcome it, and lead the offense to a win.

If i am wrong i will come on here and man up. I'm just giving my thoughts on the game looking for some peaceful debate and discussion.
Saban is going to be ready for any tricks the mad hatter has up his sleeve... Trust me...
- LSU has the advantage with defensive line, no doubt about that... AJ will do amazing in this game, just watch... Saban is saying the same thing to his players, and they, along with this community coming together, is something that cannot be touched. The tornado really brought this team, and community together. They are playing for their coach in is Bday week, the community, the loss of players lives, and they are so focused. They are still on the field from that sad loss last season, with the blown lead, and they will not let that go. You are about to witness greatness...
This is THE GAME OF THE YEAR for Nick Saban... This is his old team, so the players SELL OUT for this match up for him. He will not go one dimensional in any way with Trent. There will be perfect balance with the offense...
