AJ, and Trent, and all of our receivers are doing far better than our team was offensively this time, so don't look into that...
We are MUCH improved from last season, and mainly our defense is... This is the same defense that played LSU last season, and they are still on the field from that loss. There is nothing LSU can throw at them that they haven't seen for the most part.
Also, we are amazing at stopping the run, and not selling out on it to do so... That is how a 3-4 defense under Saban is... We will stop the run with ease in this game, as we have all season. LSU isn't that great at running the ball regardless... Because of this I see LSU going one dimensional, and when you add that in with the crowd noise, and pressure of playing at BD stadium, you have a bad spot for LSU.
As for the offense, although AJ hasn't been in a game of this magnitude, he has given no reason this season on the road at Penn st, and at Florida, to be concerned. He will manage this game well, as he has all season, and there will be perfect balance with his passing, and Trent running it down LSU's throat.
Bama 31 - 10
That's 6 on LSU now. Fellas
As I said LSU beat Bama with Greg McElroy, Mark Ingram, Julio Jones. A.J. McCarron, Trent Richardson, Marquis Maze are not the same caliber of players. Last year Bama had Mark Ingram and LSU was able to slow him down. So your saying they could slow down Ingram but not Richardson. Maze is trying to fill Julio Jones’s shoes and he will not be able to do it. Julio’s numbers were huge against LSU last year. I just don’t see McElroy, Ingram or Maze giving the same production. There is nothing that Bama can do with basically the same defense as last year that LSU has never seen against them before. LSU’s Average yards Per Rush vs. Alabama’s D was 5.0 last year and LSU’s Average Per Pass Play vs. Alabama’s D last year was 10.4. And this year’s LSU team is better on offense because Lee has shown he can get it done with his arm. In my opinion Bama’s team on offense is not as good as last years team and they don’t have the edge they had on offense talent wise compared to last years star-studded offensive stars.
You can’t say AJ will throw when he hasn’t played anyone of this caliber yet. So basically your betting on a hunch and speculating what AJ will do and I am betting on what I expect LSU to do and have seem them do already before. It doesn’t matter if Bama stops the run because LSU will throw the ball on them with veteran quarterback play off play action. LSU will try to run just to set up play action. I don’t think LSU cares if Bama slows them down or not. They will pound the rock anyway. If I am wrong I will eat my words. I have lost many times in my 10 years of doing this. I have lost so badly that I wanted to quit doing this and felt pathetic at this but I got up dusted myself off and kept on trying. Nothing can humble a gambler more than getting his ass kicked and embarrassed at the sportsbook in front of other gamblers. After talking shit all day. You’re a very entertaining poster tappy. I read all of your Bama thread. Looking forward to debating with you more often in the future.
USC game is about to start.

Our offense had MAJOR issues last season, and they are resolved now. If you can't see that you are blind... We also have a FAR better team than last season. The players last year were playing their first season together, and we had a lot of injuries to key players, like upshaw, and hightower. These players are all back this season, they are AMAZING together, they are healthy, and they will DOMINATE LSU. And FYI, your opinion is wrong... We have the best offense in the SEC right now, and are obviously better. I hope u didn't put too much money on LSU with this logic. Predicting that a team from a season ago, is gonna fall into the same category is pretty dumb bro...

USC game is about to start.
He has done it all season... The level of talent of LSU, at home, isn't that much different than what AJ has faced. He will do AMAZING in this game, watch... IF LSU can't run the ball, and is one dimensional, they will struggle.

I'm gonna' have to take the points and geaux with LSU. The Tigers have the speed and talent in the secondary to employ man coverage and allow them to put 7 or 8 in "the box" to sleaux down the vaunted 'Tide rushing attack and dare A.J. to threaux. Also the Tigers enjoy a great advantage at the punter position which should give LSU the upper hand in the field position game. This is particularly critical in leaux scoring defensive battles like everyone expects this game to be. I kneaux that Jarrett Lee has not played very well in the past against the 'Tide but I feel that with this defense behind him, as the game plays out Lee's confidence will only greaux. And if we see J.J. I expect that he will also play well as he is eager to sheaux that he is the best QB in Baton Rouge.
Good Luck Breaux!

Listen, Bama stats look better this year, because they're playing an easier schedule than last year. Any unbiased Bama fan will admit that. This year Bama team, on offense, would not fare very well with last years schedule.
The defense that AJ will face this Saturday is nothing he has seen in his entire football career.
LSU on the other hand, is playing a schedule just as tough, maybe even tougher this year. For years, LSU main weakness was their offense. For the first time in a decade, they have a legit offense to go with their defense, and people are just brushing it off.
Come Saturday, we will see who's the improved team.
LSU by double digit

The line is where it is, is because Vegas doesn't want to put it too high, and scare away LSU backers.
LOL! I think you are joking but if you are not aware of how the lines are made go and talk to a vegas lines maker. They have an oddsmaker post an opening line and see where the action goes and then adjust along the way to make sure action is on both sides.
You couldn't be more wrong about this... Trent Richardson has a ton more yards, and is doing FAR better than Ingram was doing last year. He has an AMAZING, experienced offensive line in front of him. Aj is also doing far better than Gmac was, and our recievers are in a better spot, because the QB doesn't have a main target he likes to go to, and that is getting double covered all the time. He now has a plethora of receivers, and TE's... Also, Saban has proven several times this season, that when the run isn't working we will pass. That has happened several times this season... In the Tennessee game for instance, we came out in the second half, and didn't run the ball once in our opening drive, and drove down the field and scored.
So you have crowned Richardson, already. Ingram was the Heisman trophy winner and he is garbage now. Jones was picked in the 1st round of the draft for 5 draft picks but Maze is already better? And McElroy had a 24-3 record as a starter and AJ has already surpassed him in his 8 game career by beating no one in a primetime situation. OK? Saban has proven they can throw against who again?
Once again, wrong... This is a totally different team than last season, and they are gonna win this game, favorably... Aj threw a pick last week against Tennessee, it never got to him, and he came back, and had the best game of his career. IF he throws a pick, and that is a BIG IF, he will overcome it, and lead the offense to a win. Tennessee is garbage. He has proven absolutely nothing. The vols, are not even close to LSU this is a stupid argument. He beat a team with no pressure on him against a team they were supposed to beat.
Don't look into that road stat... This community under Saban is a different monster now, and our stadium has made some vast improvements. These LSU players haven't been to anything like this all season, and they will not be able to hear themselves speak. The last time they came into BD, they lost. These QB's have not faced this, nor have they faced a secondary like this one. There is NFL talent all over the field for Bama, and they are doing to shut these boys down. FYI, you really need to quit looking into last year. We are a FAR better team this year, and will not be stopped. LSU is just another team in the way of greatness...And you are JOKING when you say that LSU will have any success when running the ball... Dont'a Hightower is bigger than any back they have, and he is going to make those little boys his prison bitch. Watch that happen...
Saban is going to be ready for any tricks the mad hatter has up his sleeve... Trust me...
Yeah they lost to a team with Greg McElroy, Mark Ingram, and Julio Jones players who have proven themselves against real competition. Go look at the number these guys put up and you will see it took a huge game from these guys to come out with a win. NO I will not stop looking into last year because this is the same defensive coordinator and defense playing a better offense that is more experienced in LSU that was successful in ever category against them with 5 yards a carry and 10 yards a pass.
LSU has the advantage with defensive line, no doubt about that... AJ will do amazing in this game, just watch... Saban is saying the same thing to his players, and they, along with this community coming together, is something that cannot be touched. The tornado really brought this team, and community together. They are playing for their coach in is Bday week, the community, the loss of players lives, and they are so focused. They are still on the field from that sad loss last season, with the blown lead, and they will not let that go. You are about to witness greatness...
This is THE GAME OF THE YEAR for Nick Saban... This is his old team, so the players SELL OUT for this match up for him. He will not go one dimensional in any way with Trent. There will be perfect balance with the offense.
You aren't making sense... Why would we want these players, when the ones we have now are doing better? The offensive line is blocking better this season, and our QB is managing games better. All of that must win for the state, city, town and the people of the community stuff mean nothing on the field. Believing in a team that has never been tested and has proven jack against weak competition is pretty dumb bro. Sports capping is based on what happened in the past and seeing what happening in the present and coming up with an educated guess. So what happened in the past is really important. Wow you sound like a big time homer. Like Bama is the greatest college team of all time with players that haven’t done anything yet? The defense might be great but to crown this offense is insane. I look at the numbers McElroy, Ingram, and Jones put up and I compare the new big three to them it’s not even close.
It’s a joke you even put them on the same level when these guys haven’t done anything at all yet. Man don’t insult me man by calling me dumb. I am being civil and respectful and you came at me with a tone of aggression. I hate Internet tough guys. I am not a LSU fan so I have no personal feelings towards Alabama. I am picking this game based on winning money. This is in no way personal for me. I come on here to debate not fight.
USC is covering the –17 line that I have. Should be winning by more but hey it’s football.

i'm big on LSU. grew up in louisiana, so i'm a total homer better. that has been the biggest reason i've questioned this bet, but every angle i look at has the tigers tearing bama up. This is the most talented team LSU fans have seen, definately since 1973, and maybe even 1958. Tyrann Mathieu, our most dynamic player goes out, and his backup, Brooks has a pick 6! Ware is out and his backup Hilliard does the exact same thing! Jarrett Lee goes out, he has a backup that's just as good! Depth at every position is why LSU will win. Every player will be fresh for every play the entire 60 minutes.
another reason i love LSU to beat the crap out of those motherfuckers is special teams. They're gonna get an Australian punter, Brad Wing, who will likely get called for taunting as he runs in the football for a motherfucking TD!!! BITCHES!!! YAAAA! Seriously, watch out for special teams to make really really big plays.
anyway, welcome to the forums dude and just wanted to drunken blurt my 2 cents.
LSU ML +155 to the bank

Been there JKP buzzed forum cruising. USC –17 for –204 covered. All that juice paid off. 204 bucks to pay 100 bucks. Alternate pointspreads are my favorite bets.

There is tons of value in the LSU ML play getting almost 2-1. If you are going to take LSU that would be the best bet IMO. If Alabama wins SU they will definitely cover 6 minimum. I honestly like Over 41.5 here the most.

14 maybe 15 with GMYS covers brothers on LSU
It's almost time to find out who's number 1. Greg McElroy, Mark Ingram, Marcell
Dareus and Julio Jones are all gone. I can't wait to see if A.J.
McCarron can throw on LSU' s secondary, the nation’s best man to man
coverage unit.

I don't like to show boat in a forum but all that smack talk by Bama fans was getting real old after awhile. It was as if bama backers were 100 percent sure they would win. The arrogance was coming off the computer screen. This is gambling there is never a sure thing. And if your a homer you're wearing homer goggles.
All hail the mighty crimson tide. Bama are the gods of football and their defense was created by god himself and LSU shouldn't even be in the presence of the great crimson tide. The crimson tide defense could beat an NFL team because they are unbeatable. They are the Spartans of football! LSU won last year and it was the same outcome as i predicted. Last year told the story of what would happen this year. It was closer than i expected. I thought LSU blew opportunities to score in key situations. The mad hatter played way to conservative and almost cost his team the game.
This won't even be close they say. A blow out! 30 bama threads and maybe 5 LSU threads.

What up HookEmHorns22 your longhorns crushed texas tech yesterday. My grandfather is a die hard horns fan. He loves the city of Austin. I should have jumped on the alternate spread for the horns like i wanted to. Texas has been so inconsistent this year i decided to stay away because of the way the red raiders beat the sooners. I knew the red raiders would get touched on the ground. I just 2nd guessed myself.
