Yes, dominated. Washington had 50 yds rushing on 20 attempts...if you add in sacks they had like 15yds rushing.
It was 17-13 in the 3rd, because of a long bomb for 70 yds. Washington had 1 drive for 40 yds besides the long bomb. They couldnt move the ball on USC, and Bama is 5+ better/bigger/faster on D.
Browning wasnt even 50% passing, and has looked bad his last few games...even against Colorado.
We're not going to change each others opinion on this. I was at the game & never felt the Huskies were being dominated. Did they play bad? Yes. USC play good? Yes. But they weren't destroyed 49-10 (Mich. over psu) or 41-10 (UW over Colo).

The OSU scenario is fixed by getting rid of divisions within conferences. Penn St played 2 ranked teams all year and should have been 0-2. Even with lucky OSU win, Michigan drubbing negates that imo.
Clemson got beat up for losing to the same Pitt team that beat Penn St. Take away the OSU game and give me another quality win, before last night.
I think the top 4 are fair. I believe Alabama would have treated Penn St like they did Mich St last year.
While I feel that we can beat Alabama with our A game, I have seen that A game too infrequently to get excited about it. Last year we should have won, but got out coached and out schemed by Saban in the end. That's why he's the best in the business. I just want us to give our best effort. If we aren't good enough, I can take it. The sloppy bs, defensive lapses, and insistence on keeping teams in games until the end gives me less confidence than last year. I will root my behind off for my boys, but I'm not making any grand proclamations based on the season I just saw.

U don't fix things after the fact. "Should" have been 0-2. Give me a break. Again the whole point of the playoff system was 2 correct this subjective bs. OSU should not be in playoff over Penn State.

Whys that. Penn State lucked out against Ohio State at home .... I repeat AT HOME.... against the Buckeyes. They lost to Pitt and got dominated by Michigan, both losses are worse than Ohio State's 1 loss.... again I repeat 1 loss .... to Penn State on the road on a blocked field goal.
Also why should the conference championship count for everything. So you're telling me if Florida or Va Tech win last night theyre in over Clemson or Bama. No of course not. But according to the logic of "well they won the conference 'ship so theyre in" than they'd both be in.
The reason it mattered two years ago was due to the fact that Ohio State, TCU, and Baylor we're all super tight. The conference title just gave them the boost. Not to mention the Buckeyes win was much more impressive 2 years ago than Penn States was yesterday.
To leave out the Buckeyes.... the team that would have been playing Bama in the title game if it were still the BCS system (yes this is true so don't say it would be Clemson, look it up), for some team with two bad losses and only 1 great win would be nonsense. Only simple minded people think that way

Even with the committee, you can't remove the human element. OSU outgained PSU 413-276. Penn St's last 10 points came off a blocked punt and a blocked fg return for a TD. yeah they won, but no one that watched that game came away saying Penn St was the better team. I think the committee relies on the eye test. They picked who they thought were the 4 best teams. The only folks disgruntled are fans of schools that feel like they got jobbed.

They did get "jobbed", and all fans of College Football got "jobbed" as you call it. As I posted elsewhere on the this forum, this is a travesty and certainly a black eye towards the game of College Football. The decision was about money and politics, nothing more.

SInce when does it matter how you won the game, The fact is, Penn ST Beat The worthless Nuts and they should not be put over them, A win is what the score says at the end of the game, not how you got to it. Ohio should NOT be in this atr all.

Penn State won there conferences championship, that is how, and they also beat Ohio State. You only have to have a few marbles in the head to understand that. They took a real fukking by this so called selection committee.

First, if you're going to try and insult someone, "you only have a few marbles in your head to understand"...atleast be able to use correct grammer.
Second...I never knew it said "1)If you win your conference championship you are in? 2) If you beat a team, you are in?
Where does it say that?
Penn St lost to Pitt...do they get in? Penn St lost not once, twice! Penn St got DESTROYED by Michigan...DESTROYED!!! So, according to you Michigan gets in before Penn St??
Actually...Pitt beat both Penn St and Clemson...they should def be in

Well, they shouldn't have lost to Pitt then.

So much grey area.......the new system is actually more subjective than the old BCS......at least they used "unbiased" computers as part of their formula. What's of more importance......head to head or number of losses? Out of conference SOS or quality wins/losses? Conference championship or perceived "better team"? The answer to all of these questions is "whatever the committee decides at the time".That's why there will always be a team or teams that feels as though they got the shaft. There really are no rules.

I don't think Bama will ever trail 5mins into the 2nd qtr either game.Clemson isn't as good as last yr & Bama is significantly better than last yr so that really sums on that possible matchup IMO.On the flip side,Oh how I'd love to see Clemson defeat Bama & be wrong in my prediction. What a huge advantage for Bama playing Washington in Atlanta.Clemson vs Ohio State should be a very tight game.If Bama comes out sluggish like they have in their last 2 outings and these playoff teams can take advantage of their opportunities u never know.Ive been watching football too long to say a team is unbeatable. We thought the 83 Nebraska team couldn't lose shredding almost everyone during the season before playing Miami ...they lost 31-30..We saw Jimmy Johnson's Canes full of confidence in 86 only to have several turnovers to vs PennSt in a 14-10 loss. Then in 2002 we saw a gutsy Ohio St team take the fight to a great Miami team who lost their best player early in the game sprinkled in with some bad calls.Ohio St stops the Hurricane repeat defeating a team far more talented. In 2005 USC was about 5min away from 3peating then Vince Young turned into Superman so it's probably about that time for a big upset.I can still remember playing pick up basketball w David who was a really good high school basketball player.Dabo wasn't ready for that inside kick last yr & that surprised me,but I just don't think he has the horses.Take that back. if u have Watson u certainly have a chance. Can Clemson beat Ohio St & Bama back2back?I hope so.Have no idea aside from Bama -14 vs Washington what I'm taking. We gave a few weeks to think on it.

Biggest Travesty in sports?Might be the single dumbest thing I've ever heard u say .It's small minded don't u think.PennSt got blown off the field vs Michigan and lost to Pitt.Lose one? Okay. lose 2? Your done

The way it................. SHOULD BE * vs the way...........IT IS
Current 'system'......per play-off committee criteria *team with the best overall 'resume' gets in.......head to head / conf titles....are used to break a tie ONLY
OF COURSE....any team that wins it's conf title 'should' advance.....esp over a team it beat wtf.......
BUT.....KNOWING the stewpid system GOING IN.....you LOSE ?.....you're most likely OUT.....plain and simple
BOL Boom........................

You must have a reading comprehension problem as I never said anything about it being "biggest travesty in sports".
I am sure they might offer reading comprehension courses in your area, you might want to check it out before running your mouth. Just saying ....

Head to head and conferences wins should matter...but it decide decide everything...nor should it.
Its the overall resume....and one of the most important, if not most important is how many losses.
Penn St lost twice...they had almost no chance...nor should they. They lost to unranked Pitt...they lost to Michigan by 39!!!
Head to head/conf titles matter, especially in a tie...Penn St was never ranked close to OSU
If you add up the losses by OSU, Michigan, Wisky, Clemson...all 7 of those losses dont even add up to that
